Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer and pioneer in the Burgundy winemaking scene. Established in 1930, Domaine Tour Saint Michel has remained a cherished family property since the very beginning. Founded by Michel Fabre, who acquired the original vines still in use today, the legacy was passed to his son, Henri. Together with his wife, Eliane, they cultivated and expanded the estate over the years. Presently, the Domaine encompasses 44 hectares, including 30 hectares in the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Since 2007, Mireille has overseen the vineyards, honouring familial traditions while embracing a modern approach. She is joined by her daughter, Magali, in upholding the tradition of excellence into the future.

Situated 450 meters above sea level on the southern ridge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, lies Iona vineyards, surrounded by the UNESCO-certified Kogelberg Biosphere. Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Fresne-Ducret is rich in family history and has been rooted in the premier cru village of Villedommange since the mid 1800s. Originally growing grapes for the big champagne houses, it wasn’t until the end of the second world war that the family decided to make their own wine. The tradition carries on today with Pierre Fresne and his wife Daniella (an Oakville ex-pat). Their philosophy is to produce wines that best exemplify the terroir of Villedommange, and they do this with sustainability in mind.

The New Explorers is an initiatory journey through the Premier Cru lands of Champagne Fresne Ducret. It is an invitation to meet those who have forged the image of the family house. Produced mainly from Pinot Meunier, which was once the only grape variety in Villedommange, this vintage first reveals the freshness of its yellow apple aromas before lifting the veil on more complex notes of honeyed toast and raspberry. Lantides Estate, established in 1993 by Lantides Panikos, has worked diligently to promote and revitalize Greek wines on the global stage since its inception. The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Francisco Baettig and Carlos de Carlos cut their teeth in the wine industry as part of the well known Errázuriz operation, where they worked together for many years. Inspired by their mutual love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the talented enologist and savvy businessman branched out to create Vinos Baettig. Produced in small batches and sold as limited editions to selected buyers, their wines have swiftly become some of the most interesting & highly lauded among the emerging talents of Chile.

This Selección de Parcelas was made with Chardonnay grapes grown in Malleco, in the appellation of Traiguén. Malleco is a land of wild forests, beautiful lakes, active volcanoes and abundant rain in southern Chilean. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels (named Triángulo and Llaima) that give rise to this wine.

Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. The twenty seven hectares of vines bordering the Ruamahunga River are growing on stony, free draining, alluvial soils, with a micro climate giving warm daily temperatures, cool nights and low rainfall; perfect conditions for producing distinctive, quality wines.

Traditional Burgundian techniques and minimal handling has produced a Pinot Noir with an intense bouquet of cherries and plums. Flavours of earth and spice complement a rich silky palate with a purity of fruit and finely integrated tannin structure.

Vassaltis is the latest addition to Santorini’s long, storied winemaking history. Owner Yannis Valambous’ passion for wine drew him back to the island of Santorini, where he spent many a happy family holiday as a child. In the wake of the 2010 Greek financial crisis, a plan took root in his mind, a plan that was part dream, part folly. Yannis sought to breathe new life into the vineyards he inherited from his father.

An exceptionally complete wine with a great ageing potential, shows the true essence of what Santorini and Assyrtiko are about: aromas of basalt and pumice stone with ripe tropical fruits, honeysuckle and maritime salinity, and a palate of salty green fruits with high levels of minerality and acidity.

The long aftertaste adds depth and weight to the wine making it a perfect pairing for seafood and fish.

Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Their rigorous selection process and green cultivation methods yield high-quality grapes, resulting in a wide range of wines across their Classic, Election, and Riserva lines.

Chardonnay thrives on warm sites at higher elevations around the area of Bolzano. Offering enticing aromas of mango and honeydew melon on the nose with hints of honeysuckle and orange blossoms. The palate is fresh and spry, underscored by balanced acidity and bright, crunchy fruits. This style was carefully fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to highlight the pure fruit notes and accentuate the more delicate characteristics that Chardonnay is capable of showing. 

Best paired with fish-based or vegetarian dishes and starters, but this style is easy to enjoy unaccompanied.
