Pearce Predhomme is a collaboration between Nicholas Pearce and Will Predhomme focusing on terroir driven wines from old vine vineyards in Stellenbosch, SA & Willamette Valley, US.

This Chenin is made from old bush vines grown in decomposed granite/quartz on the Helderburg (Clear Mountain), in the southwestern-most corner of Stellenbosch.

Behold, Chenin Blanc! The most widely planted varietal in South Africa simply shines in this charming expression from Stellenbosch. Sourced from old vines and naturally fermented, expect elegant notes of white peach, lemon, and tangerine with an underlying layer of crisp yellow apple. Bright and fresh on the palate, but with good depth and concentration, this wine is ready to drink now but will also cellar nicely for the next 2-3 years.

This Chenin Blanc pairs perfectly with all kinds of fresh seafood; and also with tartare. Smoked salmon or trout would also be delicious next to a glass of this old vines Chenin. Its rich texture makes it suitable to be paired with goat cheese, roast chicken and butternut squash.

Zesty & Creamy

Located 50 km east from Saint-Émilion, the Barouillet family has been growing grapes for at least 8 generations in Pécharment, Monbazillac and Bergerac. Vincent Alexis, who joined his father in 2010, converted the vineyards to organic and is about to obtain the biodynamic certification. 

This charming and expressive white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Sémillon, and Chenin that were grown 100% sulphur free on clay & calcareous soils. Together, they create a well-balanced wine – a surprising union between freshness, fullness and aromas. There is a lightly oxidative note and a bready, lees-y back palate that bounces off the fruit which is at once fresh and zesty and creamy and opulent. Easy, fun and just a little bit wild.

Enjoy it by the glass and with white meats or poultry.

Château de Parnay is the flagship of the Loire Valley. The property is located along the Loire river and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, on the most reputable clay and limestone terroirs of the appellation. 3 bottles x Château de Parnay Chemin des Murs Saumur Blanc 2023. This wine is sourced from an entirely walled vineyard, this 100% Chenin Blanc shows subtle and refined scents of lime, lemongrass, apricot, peach and quince. Round and mellow on the palate with notes of preserved lemons and grapefruits with a natural freshness and classic Saumur minerality.

Pairing suggestion: This wine pairs well with foods that have a sweet and sour element: southeast Asian cuisine or pork chops with apples are just a few examples!

3 bottles x Clos du Château de Parnay Saumur Champigny 2019. Located along the Loire river on the most reputable clay and limestone terroir of Saumur-Champigny appellation, Château de Parnay has been producing outstanding wines for more than two centuries. This wine is made from old vine Cabernet Franc and it shows with beautiful notes of ripe red fruits, mint and spices. The palate is structured, silky and very well balanced. The length is exceptional.

Pairing suggestion: Cabernet Franc pairs well with grilled steaks and chops, Portobello mushrooms, green olives, pepper, rosemary, and mint.

Suggested pairing: cured fish, as well as grilled fish, crustaceans (langoustines, crayfish, lobsters), and hard cheeses (comté, mimolette and others).

White | Pecorino

This vegan-certified wine made from Pecorino grapes is elegant and delicate, and shows aromas of grapefruit, apricots and nectarines. On the palate is pleasant, fresh and light-bodied. This Pecorino wine has a special saltiness and an aftertaste of bitter almonds.

Wines made from Pecorino pair extremely well with Pecorino cheeses drizzled with a bit of honey as well as vegetables, fish and white meats.

Le Devoy checks in as a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. It has terrific notes of forest floor, cracked pepper, flowers and darker berry fruits as well as medium-bodied richness, an elegant, supple texture and notable purity of fruit. This wine has considerable charm and appeal and makes for a great everyday bottle.

The 'Cappone' Chianti Classico displays elegant notes of red cherry, cranberry and mineral aromas. Smooth, medium-bodied, and fruity, reflective of the dominant Sangiovese grape. This is a delicious and crowd-pleasing dry wine with vibrant red fruit flavours, soft tannins and a bright acidity, rendering it incredibly food friendly.

Joan Ramón Escoda has been shaking the pillars of winemaking in his home-country and abroad since the 90's. He is an absolute anarchist, a radical winemaker, a rock'n'roller and a grass-roots innovator; and his wines are everything but banal.

Els Bassotets is a selection of different parcels from the estate, this is really Joan Ramon’s statement of intent. Made sans soufre from Chenin and Macabeu, it’s clear, energetic, with vibrant fruit, clean, refreshing, above all digestible with around just 12% alcohol and made to accompany any situation. The name means the little Bassots, the name of the parcel from which Joan Ramon’s second white comes because this is the lighter, little brother wine of Bassots. The animal on the label is a type of wild cat called Jineta in Spanish.

This wine is ideal with risotto and creamy pasta recipes.

The Loire Valley has always had a special importance for Joan Ramón, as it has been key in his journey and evolution as a winemaker. As a consequence, he is madly in love with Chenin. This blind love for this white grape led him to plant some vines in Conca del Barberá, which resulted in a great success thanks to the cold and humid weather of the hills in Prenafeta. The high altitude makes possible the unbelievable: a juicy and mellow skin-contact wine with hints of caramel, citrus and earthy notes.

The 2024 Chenin displays aromas of gunflint and seaweed, with tropical granadilla and a touch of green tea. The palate is linear and firm, finishing with drying tannins, exceptional length, and refined elegance. Slightly reserved on release, the wine benefits from aeration if opened early.

The Kloof Street range is all about freshness, balance and great drinkability. This wine has notes of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character. The wine has a fresh, mineral finish.

We recommend to pair this zesty wine with ceviche-style dishes. Pasta al pesto is another terrific pairing option!

Lubanzi is a socially driven South African wine company founded in 2014, inspired by a backpacking journey along the country’s remote Wild Coast. The brand is named after a wandering dog that accompanied the founders for six days and nearly 100 miles of the trek—an experience that sparked the idea to share South Africa’s culture, landscapes, and wines with a global audience.

Working with respected winemaking partners including Trizanne Barnard and Bruce Jack, Lubanzi produces expressive wines that reflect the country’s diverse terroirs. The company also maintains a strong commitment to social impact, partnering with the Pebbles Project to support health and education initiatives for families living and working on South Africa’s wine farms.

In tribute to South Africa’s rich jazz heritage, the bottle features the artwork of the acclaimed album Indaba Is—a vibrant celebration of contemporary South African jazz released in 2021 by London indie label Brownswood Recordings. Curated by pianist and songwriter Thandi Ntuli and Siyabonga Mthembu, the project brings together 52 musicians in a powerful reflection of the diversity, energy, and spirit of South African jazz.

Palladius is a benchmark Swartland white blend, first released in 2002, composed of multiple Mediterranean varieties grown across 17 vineyard parcels. The diversity of soils and the region’s ocean-influenced climate combine to create a wine of exceptional texture, complexity, and depth.

The 2023 shows remarkable brightness despite its 24 months of ageing, reflecting the influence of more acid-driven, lower-alcohol varieties that bring added freshness to the blend. Aromas open with zesty lime and green apple, underscored by a persistent thread of salinity. The palate is finely structured, with refined tannins seamlessly integrated with focused acidity, leading to a long, balanced, and lingering finish. One of the standout wines of the vintage.
