Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Leaning Post's house style of rosé is bright and refreshing with the most beautiful colour and great fruit. The nose is so vibrant with red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and watermelon, with savoury notes of white pepper, lemon basil and hints of orange blossom. The palate reflects the nose with rich texture and a delicate finish. This bright, refreshing Rosé was built for warm summer days and good company!

Mineral & Fruity

A rising star in the Etna region, Tornatore is becoming one of the region's biggest and most respected wineries. Their vineyards are located at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level on the north side of this active volcano.

This is a shining, deeper-hued rose of nerello mascalese, from Castiglione di Sicilia, on Etna's northern slopes. With just a few hours of skin time giving a glowing crimson, this was fermented and aged for a short stint in stainless to preserve the fresh fruit.

Juicy wild raspberry, red berries, wild orange, lemon peel livens the medium-bodied, saline palate. Ample Etna minerality and freshness give a vibrancy to the palate, finishing long and salty.

In 2010, Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos after an invitation from a local Douro family who had read about these playful and ambitious sibling winemakers. Both siblings contribute to Maçanita Vinhos, but the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s passion project since the start, and Joana and her children even moved to the Porto area to be closer to the winery and vineyards. Setting down roots in the region has allowed her to focus her famous energy into expanding the rising star that is her Douro career.

Touriga Nacional em Rosé is an exuberant, fruity-yet-nervy rosé, crafted from the “Queen of Portuguese grapes,” Touriga Nacional. Joana has secured access to some of the highest elevation Touriga in Douro, offering the brightest acidity and tension while still expressing Touriga’s floral and mineral personality. Joana loves to say that this rosé is what “Touriga Naçional tastes like on the vine, with no makeup. 

On the nose, fresh crushed strawberries, bing cherries and cherry blossom aromas leap from the glass. On the palate, juicy and fresh, with beautiful texture and balance. Sour and Bing cherry, fresh and macerated strawberries, and a touch of white pepper spice all in abundance.

Bianka and Daniel took over the Weingut Schmitt in 2012 as the fourth generation to lead the winery. They are based in Wonnegau in the south Rheinhessen, centered in Flörsheim-Dalsheim. All of the vineyards are in Flörsheim-Dalsheim and neighbor villages Monsheim and Kriegsheim. Bianka and Daniel have been working their 16 hectares biodynamically for over a decade and are one of only 80 producers in Germany to be Demeter certified.

3 bottles x 2024 Freiheit Riesling. The Freiheit Riesling is a real surprise. Amidst countless conventional winegrowers in the hilly region of Rheinhessen, Bianka and Daniel Schmitt have taken a different path. The grapes were picked and selected by hand, the must was brought into the barrel immediately after pressing and left there to fend for itself. It was bottled unsulfured and unfiltered.

The result is incredibly lively, almost funky, with striking fruit. When freshly opened, it smells exotic of passion fruit, pineapple, but also gooseberries and ripe yellow pears.

3 bottles x  Freiheit Rosé FIZZ 2024. The production process begins with the whole cluster pressing of carefully selected Portugieser and Dornfelder grapes, allowing the extraction of their rich flavors and aromas while maintaining the integrity of the fruit. Following this initial pressing, the juice undergoes a primary fermentation. After this first fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to aging vessels, where it matures for a period of six months. Subsequently, a second fermentation occurs in a pressure tank. This secondary fermentation lasts for three months, during which time the wine develops its signature bubbles.

The Fizz is convincing in every respect: fizzy fun paired with grapefruit and strawberry flavours. Fruity, crisp, always perfect!

 3 bottles x Nieder-Flörsheimer Spätburgunder 2023. This lively Pinot Noir from Flörsheim-Dalsheim offers an enchanting bouquet that opens up beautifully with some aeration, revealing vibrant aromas of sour cherries and pomegranate intertwined with fragrant wild herbs and a hint of undergrowth. The palate is graced with velvety tannins and a delicate acidity that accentuates its slender body, creating an elegant balance and an inviting drinkability.

3 bottles x Freiheit Weiß 2023. The Freiheit Weiß is a blend of five different grapes. The grapes of Scheurebe and Huxelrebe macerate for about a week and half on the skins, while the weiß- and Grauburgunder, Riesling and Silvaner went directly to the press with whole cluster. 

In the glass, the wine has a light straw yellow. The nose shows gooseberries, bright flowers and ripe apple. On the palate it is fresh and light, with a beautiful texture.

“The Farm” is a 10-acre vineyard in Niagara’s Twenty Mile Bench, planted to Pinot Noir. The property is rooted in traditions of gathering family & friends, and where Peter and Dora Neudorf call home.

THE FARM, Poolhouse Rosé, is made from Gamay grown in Lincoln Lakeshore where the soils are rich in clay and high in minerals. We macerated the grapes on skins for 12 hours before gently pressing into a stainless tank where we started with a slow cold wild ferment, which harnessed the vibrant, dark fruit characters and bright acidity. Fermented dry and bottled shortly after.

The wine is dry & refreshing with notes of cherry & raspberry, and a lingering bright acidity.

Keint-He Winery & Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Prince Edward County. The winery has a strong focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; through which they truly express the best of the County with wonderful individual expressions. Sparkling | Chardonnay, Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Pinot Noir 

This Cava has a lovely, fruity nose with ripe yellow pear, a hint of vanilla and soft biscotti notes. It is light to mid weight, slightly creamy yet firm and dry on the finish.

Cava is fantastic with fresh salads, crudités, raw oysters and summer dishes like Spanish Gazpacho. It's creaminess makes it a perfect pairing for roast chicken and all kinds of fish.

This blend is light and fresh. On the nose, it's all about hints of mint, lemon and fresh cucumber, while on the palate it's zesty, with notes of green apple and citrus fruit.

It's delicious when paired with summer meals: fresh salads dressed with dried fruits such as cranberries and walnuts, grilled fish with potatoes and zesty ceviches.

The aroma is very complex and grows in the glass, combining primary notes of stone fruit with orange peel, grapefruit and ginger. A very versatile and gastronomic wine which combines lightness and the variety's mouthwatering freshness on the palate with the textural depth from the skins. The finish is remarkably long and satisfyingly dry, underscored by a firm but fine tannic grip.

Consider pairing it with shellfish, lean fish, and vegetarian options like a nut roast. Its crisp and refreshing character also makes it a good match for grilled chicken or roasted fish.
