Bright & Creamy

The Baud estate dates back to 1742, today the 9th generation manages the winery. Siblings Clementine and Bastien, both under 30, are making some of the best-value wines in the area. Jura is that narrow valley in the remote hills between Burgundy and Switzerland, which millions of years ago was covered by an Ocean and today still bares many of the fossils from that time. If you kick a stone in a Jura vineyard, it will probably be a fossil!

This sparkler, or Crémant, is made in the traditional Champagne style, where the second fermentation happens inside the bottle. Expect rich aromatics of apple fruit with citrus, toasted brioche and a striking minerality. It sparks a great balance between creaminess and vivacity.  If you like Champagne, but not the price tag, then this is the wine of choice for you. 

It is very versatile at the table and you can drink this with almost any dish: try it with all types of classic cuisine or even spicy Asian dishes.

Bright & Creamy

Arguably one of our best values in bubbly. This cava is made from Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Mas Codina is a 40 hectare estate in the Alt Penedès which dates back to 1681. This Cava Brut Nature Reserva was hand-harvested from 20 to 30-year-old vines and estate bottled. Farming is 100% organic on the estate. Though it does not say it on the label, the wine is 100% single vintage and is aged on its lees for a minimum of two years before release.

This Cava has a lovely, fruity nose with ripe yellow pear, a hint of vanilla and soft biscotti notes. It is light to mid weight, slightly creamy yet firm and dry on the finish.

Cava is fantastic with fresh salads, crudités, raw oysters and summer dishes like Spanish Gazpacho. It's creaminess makes it a perfect pairing for roast chicken and all kinds of fish.

Fresh & Balanced

Emblematically Niagara, this vibrant Chardonnay is made with organic, biodynamic and sustainably-farmed grapes from the Niagara Peninsula. The 2021 Crew Sauvage a blockbuster; 100% Tawse Estate fruit, mainly from the Robyn's Block young vines (2 Cadus puncheons, 4 barrels) which were showing best in the initial tastings with Moray and Jessica. This created the baseline for cuvée which was then blended with 3 beautifully balanced barrels from the Tawse Hillside vineyard and 2 immensely structured barrels from the Robyn's Block Old Vines parcel; the oldest Chard on the property. Et voila, another star is born.

Expect straw gold in the glass with gorgeous orchard fruits, apple and peach on the nose with notes of marine, hazelnut, lemon custard, and blonde caramel essence. This elegant wine offers a lovely texture on the palate, rich and round with biscuits and cream, while boasting a lip-smacking acidity with an herbal tea tannin.

This world class Niagara Chardonnay is ready to pair with just about anything, but we are thinking white fish in beurre blanc, cream based pastas or fresh salads garnished with lots of cheese.

Mineral & Zesty

From a new family (relatively speaking) in Chablis, the estate belongs to Marie-Noëlle & Laurent Ternynck. They have deep roots in the surrounding area of AOC Burgundy, farming for multiple generations. 

This old vines Chardonnay is wild fermented fermented in stainless steel tanks, then ages “Sur Lee” for 12 months after malolactic fermentation is complete. The fruit is gathered from vineyards in Fleys and this area sits at a higher altitude on a windswept plateau, which helps maintain the acidity in the wine.  Fresh, floral and mineral on the nose. There are notes of fresh almond, hazelnut, citrus and white flowers on the palate. It is balanced, structured and texture example of classic favourite. 

Keep it chilled in the fridge, uncork it at the end of the day and pour yourself a glass! Also pairs well with oysters, all kinds of fish dishes, and roasted chicken.

Bright & Creamy

Fresne-Ducret is rich in family history and has been rooted in the premier cru village of Villedommange since the mid 1800s. Le Chemin du Chemin is a foray into the essence of their winery.

The first aromas are of apricot and fresh bread, with floral notes, giving way to more complex notes of praline, hazelnut and shortbread. In the mouth, delicate brioche aromas, creamy and buttery, followed by a savouriness with hints of tea. Particularly well-balanced, with a soft astringency.  Aged for a minimum of 48 months on the lees in underground cellars.

Pair this excellent champagne with all the classics matches: oysters, light fish dishes... We also recommend to pair it with fried chicken, porchetta, potato chips or seared scallops. It really does goes with everything!

Keint-He Winery & Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Prince Edward County. The winery has a strong focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; through which they truly express the best of the County with wonderful individual expressions. Keint-He’s approach to winemaking is as down-to-earth as it gets and their quality is second to none.

This classic county chardonnay has a beautiful baked lemon nose, with some flinty reduction characteristics. The lean palate offers notes of green apple, with its age adding layers of brown sugar. The finish is quite refreshing and offers an additional lemon note that makes it a wonderful pairing wine. Nestled in the heart of Chablis, Domaine de Biéville was established by Jean-Jacques Moreau in the 1970s. Today, it boasts 45 hectares of continuous “old vine” vineyards, a rarity in Burgundy. The domaine's ideal location offers optimal south/southwest exposure Nd soil structure similar to prized Premier Cru sites. The estate is currently managed by Anne & Louis Moreau. Now, four decades of Moreau Family expertise on this single vineyard continue to yield an exceptional wine ranking at the top of the Chablis AOC; renowned for its balance, texture, elegance and purity of fruit.

Golden in colour with tints of green. It is very fruity with hints of lemon and grapefruit, developing into softer fruits like apricot and pear. Quite round and ripe on the palate, with hints of pear and apple alongside the supple creaminess and mineral freshness you expect from this famous appellation.

If ever a wine was designed to suit a roast chicken, this is surely it. A great friend of any poultry dish.

The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the Domaine's vineyards extend across the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

The name "Vau Ligneau," meaning 'valley of the little brook,' refers to its vineyard's location in a side valley on the left bank of the Serein. This wine is a quintessential expression of a classic Chablis 1er Cru, where the cool morning sun enhances its elegance and highlights the minerality and richness derived from the calcareous and clay subsoil. In the glass, it reveals a rich golden hue and delicate aromas of mint and exotic fruits. On the palate, it's full-flavoured, with precise acidity that elevates the fruit into a long, refined finish.

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

The 2024 vintage was beautiful, and moderate, with a slight coolness in late August and early
September that really slowed ripening. Yields were average, and as a result, wines are very
concentrated, powerful with full flavour development and great acidity. The nose of this wine
is full of pineapple, lime zest, lemon-curd, and peach blossom followed by meringue and crème fraiche. The palate has a refreshing reflection of the nose, adding peach, pear, honeysuckle and spice, but it also showcases a mineral and wet stone characteristic that leads to the long,
elegant finish. 

This wine will age well for the next 5-8 years. Enjoy with brie, sole meuniere, and lemon-roasted chicken.

The Monts de Boncourt vineyard, planted with Chardonnay in 1999 on a 21.4-are clay-marl terroir, produces rich and complex wines. The soil is mechanically maintained to control weeds and prevent erosion. A nearby stone quarry creates a unique micro-climate by radiating stored heat during the night after hot, sunny days. Ripe and fresh aromas of pear, apple, and a hint of wet stone lead to rich, full-bodied flavours with good persistence. A distinctive saline character shines through, highlighting the unique terroir above Nuits and Vosne, making this a standout value worth noting.

Les Clos is the largest grand cru in Chablis and is considered the quintessential wine of the region for many. The site generally produces one of the most potent and longest-lived wines of the appellation and yet can be a pleasure to drink in its youth. Starting from 2013, the grapes from this parcel have been vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks, emphasizing the wine's polish and finesse to the fullest extent.

Located in Traiguén in Chile’s southern Araucanía region, some 600 km south of Santiago, Baettig’s Viñedos Los Suizos site sits in a cool-climate zone shaped by volcanic soils, native forests, and abundant rainfall. With mild summers, cool, wet winters, and limited sunlight, conditions here allow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to ripen slowly and evenly. The vineyards are rooted in ancient volcanic soils rich in clay, loam, and deep stony layers, which promote balanced vine growth, excellent drainage, and a distinctive mineral character in the wines.

A Chardonnay sourced from a combination of parcels, “Los Parientes” (meaning “the relatives”) refers to the close relationship between the different vineyard components that come together in the final blend.

The nose is austere, pure and elegant with citrusy aromas of lemon and lime zest and hints of linden, verbena, pear, apple blossoms and slivered almonds. The palate reveals flinty mineral notes along with a delicate, chalky texture and crunchy fruits. This a linear wine with vibrant acidity and a long salt-tinged finish.

Under the stewardship of winemaker and proprietor of the late Nicolas Potel, the domaine has focused on producing wines that faithfully reflect both place and vintage, while safeguarding the land and its traditions for future generations. Today, Domaine de Bellene is widely respected among Burgundy enthusiasts for its thoughtful range of wines spanning both celebrated and lesser-known appellations.

Premier Cru Les Perrières, located between Les Cent Vignes, Les Bressandes, and Les Marconnets, was originally planted to Pinot Noir but is particularly well suited to Chardonnay. Bellene acquired and replanted the vineyard in 2013, with the inaugural vintage released in 2017.

The wine opens with pure aromas of stone fruit and fresh flowers, followed by a silky, savoury palate defined by a pleasing saltiness and iodine-tinged minerality. Racy, finely detailed, and distinctly stony through the mid-palate, it finishes clean, dry, and beautifully balanced, with the potential to gain additional depth and complexity with a few years of bottle age.

This Premier Cru site generates very fruity wines with notes of crunchy orchard fruits such as apple and pears with plenty of citrus influence. The palate is lush and complex with layered fruit aromas underscored by chalky, saline-tinged tones. There is a charming vivacity that is characteristic of the stony soil of 1er Cru Vaillons, which makes its way into each bottling.

The Chardonnay in this wine comes from a beautiful old vines (35+ years old) block, while the Pinot Noir is from a younger block on the same property in Beamsville Bench.

If you can imagine dipping a freshly baked lemon/herb croissant into a cloud then you have some idea of how this wine tastes! The toasty/biscuity and lemon-curd aspect leaps immediately out of the glass, with a background of crème-fraiche and flowers. The palate is full and round, with a very fine mousse showing fresh-baked bread, lemon meringue, roasted almond and unicorn-dust. The terroir and old-vines really come through on the finish with an amazing mineral/flinty core and very present acidity.

Enjoy now, but this wine will age gracefully over the next 8+ years if you want it to. Drink with fresh Malpeque oysters, hazelnut crusted halibut, and soft white cheeses.

Three cheers for the everyday wine! Entertaining, broken down to the essentials and seriously uncomplicated. An everyday wine functions in much the same fashion. While the Naked White initially comes along on tiptoe in the nose, it perches on the palate putting the whole foot into play... Its primary protagonists, Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc, lend it a creamy texture, while the supporting characters happily eliminate any resistance to drinking and throws some lemon zest into the glass. Unadulterated, straightforward & precise.

The Heinrich Naked White is a versatile wine that pairs well with light and fresh dishes like grilled vegetables, seafood, and goat cheese. Thanks to its multiple exposures to the sun, Grand Cru Valmur develops more specifically fruity and round aromas and is less marked by the calcareous and clay subsoil. In the mouth, this wine displays a robust and powerful character, feeling less steely than its neighbour, Grand Cru Les Clos. Expect soft notes of acacia and orange blossoms with nectarine and yellow pear notes to unfold on the palate with shades of salt-tinged sweet spices lasting long into the well-defined finish.

The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels that make up this Chardonnay. Sourced from a selection of both the Triángulo and Llaima parcels, the blend results in focused, stoney-edged wines with great tension. 

Highly refined and expertly balanced, showing aromas of citrus fruits, orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine with light splashes of walnuts tossed in sweet spices. It has great energy and precision, but above all it stands out for its mineral texture and depth. Expect to find green apple and crunchy peach lasting long into the saline-tinged finish.

This, Lighthall's first edition of concrete aged Chardonnay, paints the clearest image yet of county terroir. The flavours continue in the palate, but the star of the show is the opulent, luscious, yet elegant mouthfeel that lingers with finesse.

A brilliant seafood wine, this is a knockout with oysters, halibut, butter-poached cod,
