Fresh & Balanced

Emblematically Niagara, this vibrant Chardonnay is made with organic, biodynamic and sustainably-farmed grapes from the Peninsula with a focus on three star vineyards, Quarry Road (Vinemount Ridge), Cherry Road (Twenty Mile Bench), and the Kocsis - Red Foot Vineyard (Lincoln Lakeshore).

The 2018 vintage in Niagara marks a full and warm growing season, with just the right amount of heat and rain. The crops came in showing low yields with great quality. A vigneron's dream! Expect straw gold in the glass with gorgeous orchard fruits, apple and peach on the nose with notes of marine, hazelnut, lemon custard, and blonde caramel essence. This elegant wine offers a lovely texture on the palate, rich and round with biscuits and cream, while boasting a lip-smacking acidity with an herbal tea tannin.

Bright, lively, and slightly viscous, ready to pair with cream sauces or white fish in beurre blanc.

About the Winery

Pearce Family Wines

In the early 2000's Nicholas Pearce was exposed to the garagiste movement in Bordeaux and was particularly inspired by négociants like Jean Luc Thunevin (Saint Emilion), James Sichel (Margaux) and Nicolas Potel (Beaune) from Burgundy.

After returning home to Ontario and starting his own wine company, he has had a hand in making 10+ wines in two hemispheres, 3 countries and 5 different appellations since the 2013 vintage.
