Husband and wife winemaker team, Chris and Andrea Mullineux, set out with a shared vision to create authentic Swartland wines that reflect the distinct terroir of the region while embracing reasoned, sustainable farming practices and modern minimalist winemaking. Their commitment to quality and their deep respect for the environment and their employees have earned them acclaim both nationally and internationally, and has led to Mullineux being awarded South African Winery of the Year an unprecedented five times by the highly respected Platter’s Guide.
The vineyards selected for this balanced yet intensely sweet and remarkable Straw Wine naturally possess high acidity, concentrated flavour, and excellent structure. These qualities are rooted in the calibre of old-vine Chenin Blanc planted on the decomposed granite soils of the Paardeberg.
This unique, solera-aged straw wine combines vintages from 2008 through 2023, resulting in exceptional complexity and remarkable freshness. The No. 4 rendition captivates with aromas of sun-dried apricots and fragrant fynbos. Intensely concentrated yet lifted by vibrant acidity, it offers a harmonious balance amongst layers of citrus, candied ginger, and marzipan. An exquisite and rare cuvée with an enduring finish.
Enjoy this coveted wine on it's own or with hard cheeses and charcuterie.

This extraordinary Chardonnay site is situated on the high gravelly slopes of the Helderberg Mountain and in near proximity to False Bay. Planted at 400m, the vines enjoy the maritime influenced cool days and mild nights of the area, which brings an incredible intensity and freshness to the wine.
Reflective of its terroir showing complex aromas of crushed lime and yellow grapefruit. It has a vibrant entry with flavours of tangerine and white pear, a touch of salinity and finishes with a textured and lush mouthfeel.

Sourced from a historic parcel of dry-farmed bush vine Cinsault planted in 1900, rooted in deep sandy alluvial soils in Wellington. Recognized as South Africa’s oldest registered red wine vineyard, it continues to produce fruit of remarkable character and heritage.
This aromatic wine opens with an alluring, complex bouquet of roses, cranberries, cherries, warm spice, and a whisper of thyme. The palate is fresh and silky, layered with notes of orange peel, rhubarb, maraschino cherry, pink peppercorn, and clove. Fine tannins provide elegant structure, carrying the flavours through to a refined finish.
