The estate, located in the Bollenberg area, lies between Rouffach and Guebwiller. Bollenberg is the largest limestone hill in the canton of Rouffach. This family property dates back to 1887. In 1945, the Clos returned to the Meyer family and became a fully-fledged wine estate, as the family decided to produce quality wines to preserve Alsatian cultural identity.
This approach has allowed the Clos to maintain a solid reputation for many years and a rigorous mastery of the art of winemaking.
