Founded in 2014, Vassaltis was born from Yannis Valambous’ decision to leave a successful career as an economist in London and return to his family’s vineyards on Santorini in the wake of the 2010 Greek financial crisis. Inspired by childhood summers on the island and a deep respect for its winemaking heritage, Yannis set out to craft wines that both honour Santorini’s traditions and express the exceptional quality of its grapes. Together with winemakers Elias Roussakis and Yannis Papaeconomou, he transformed the vineyards he inherited from his father into a modern, boutique estate, united by a shared ambition to show that Santorini—and a new generation of Greek producers—can create world-class wines with international resonance.

This Assyrtiko is the winery's signature expression of this most noble of grapes and was the first wine ever created by the team.

Layered and complex aromas open with flint, wet stone, and a touch of sea salt, woven together with ripe yellow fruits, peach, and honey, alongside subtle notes of fresh bread. The palate reveals seamless interplay between vigorous acids and well-defined, rounded fruit, adding contrast between the wine’s rich, textural character and its sharper saline edge. A beautifully expressed rendition with long lasting intrigue.

Perfectly paired with seafood and fish prepared in any style—grilled, fried, or steamed.

The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese.

This is a beautifully expressive Brunello from an outstanding vintage, now confidently hitting its stride. The nose is vibrant and layered, with classic aromas of spiced licorice and red cherry, complemented by subtle notes of fresh rosemary, cedar, and dried flowers. On the palate, it offers full weight and a smooth, seamless texture, with fine-grained tannins woven through a warm, elegant core of dried fruit. Rich and juicy, it showcases the signature succulence and length of Montalcino, with the structure and finesse to continue evolving gracefully for years to come.

Pair Brunello with bold, flavourful dishes such as oxtail, a nicely cooked steak, rich stews, or game served with mushroom-based sauces.

Bodega Bideona represents a new generation of Rioja wines, defined by the precise origin of their grapes rather than winemaking techniques. Its 282 small vineyard plots, averaging 0.3 hectares and over 50 years old, include vines planted between 1920 and 1960, reflecting a unique cultural and biological heritage. The Bideona Village-Wine range highlights the distinct character of Rioja Alavesa’s wine-growing villages, a nuance often lost during the industrialization of Rioja, when blending and technique overshadowed origin. These wines restore the importance of village identity, allowing each bottle to express the place it comes from.

Leza, a small village at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains, is home to vineyards planted in the first half of the 20th century. Situated at 580–610 meters above sea level, these vines offer a rare varietal and clonal complexity. The wine is structured and slow-ripening, shaped by the influence of altitude and the mountains. It reveals dark fruit flavours with an exotic, almost apothecary-like undertone, combining muscular structure with exceptional freshness and balance.

Nestled beneath the imposing Helderberg Mountain, Metzer Wines comes from South Africa’s lower Helderberg region, just five kilometres from the shores of False Bay. Founded in 2006 by Wade Metzer—one of the country’s most exciting young talents—after mentoring with the influential Eben Sadie, the estate focuses on mature vineyards and heritage grapes, particularly Chenin Blanc and Cinsault. With minimal intervention, light handling, indigenous yeast fermentation, and subtle oak ageing, Wade crafts wines that are expressive and authentic, capturing both the personality of the fruit and the essence of the Helderberg.

The Montane Chenin is a single-vineyard wine from a bush vine parcel planted in 1964, situated on the foothills of the Helderberg West Peak. Opening with an understated bouquet that gently unfolds in the glass, revealing subtle notes of apple, hay, and ginger spice. The palate is finely balanced and driven more by texture than overt flavour, with a vibrant mineral core and a hint of citrus on the finish, leaving a delicate tannic grip as the wine fades.

This style is all about tension and texture, a dynamic push and pull between acidity, tannin and minerality. A cerebral wine which will reward several years of cellaring.

Keermont Vineyards is a boutique wine estate situated in the naturally formed amphitheatre between the Helderberg and Stellenbosch mountain ranges in South Africa. The estate was established when the Wraith family acquired two neighbouring farms in 2003, leading to the thoughtful revitalization of the vineyards with a focus on quality and site expression under the direction of winemaker and viticulturist Alex Starey.

All wines are produced exclusively from estate-grown fruit. The vineyards are planted on deep red clay soils derived from sandstone and granite and are surrounded by indigenous vegetation, creating a diverse growing environment that contributes to the balance, character, and complexity of the wines.

Today, a small, dedicated team of around 15 people oversees every stage of production—from vineyard stewardship through to bottling—maintaining a meticulous, hands-on approach that defines Keermont’s reputation for quality and precision.

Terrasse (pronounced ta-ras-ah) is a barrel-fermented white blend named after the terraced vineyards that rise along the mountainous the estate. The nose is inviting, with notes of spring flowers, ripe apricot, citrus, and a hint of barley. The palate opens soft and luscious before bright acidity brings focus, revealing layers of apricot, peach, and quince alongside richer, spicy, and savoury nuances. The finish lingers with a light phenolic grip, while a fine thread of saline acidity adds lift and succulence.

From the outset, the vision behind Terre à Terre and DAOSA has been to grow grapes of exceptional quality from carefully selected vineyard sites and to vinify them using the best of both French and Australian winemaking traditions. Founded in 2008 by Xavier and Lucy, whose roots lie in Champagne and the Adelaide Hills respectively, the estates are built on rigour, precision, and a commitment to crafting world-class fine wines with elegance, power, and strong ageing potential. Independent of passing trends, their focus remains on creating enduring Great Australian Classics.

Located at the top of a north-south limestone ridge in Wrattonbully, the Crayères vineyard was named in homage to the chalk cellars that define Xavier’s native Champagne. Beneath this remarkable site lie similar natural formations, now the focus of a research project led by the University of Adelaide, where undisturbed, ancient fossilized remains have been discovered.

A classic Cabernet–Shiraz assemblage, produced each year from the best parcels of grown on the estate. Offering an unmistakably Australian expression, with lifted black and red fruit and subtle floral aromatics. The palate is seamless and well-balanced, framed by velvety tannins and a refined, textured finish.

This will be a perfect sip alongside roasted beef fillet with traditional gratin dauphinois.

With two distinct wineries—one nestled in the Helderberg Mountain of Stellenbosch and the other an Organic Estate in Elgin—all Radford Dale wines are united by a single ethos: to produce the finest wines without succumbing to commercial trends or outdated practices.
