Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. The twenty seven hectares of vines bordering the Ruamahunga River are growing on stony, free draining, alluvial soils, with a micro climate giving warm daily temperatures, cool nights and low rainfall; perfect conditions for producing distinctive, quality wines

This Pinot highlights purity and freshness, offering bright aromas of red florals, spice, and juicy red fruit. Medium-bodied, the palate shows a vibrant mix of tart and sweet cherry framed by soft, velvety tannins. Subtle oak lends a gentle touch of chocolate to the finish, while a hint of spice adds lift and energy to the lingering aftertaste.

A perfect pairing for grilled quail, roasted chicken or the richness of pork shoulder. This wine can also stand up to glazed salmon or a decadent pizza with sweet potato, balsamic onions and soppressata.

The 2024 vintage marks the sixth blend created by SJP and Invivo co-founders Tim and Rob, celebrated at the iconic Citi Field stadium. Crafted to reflect the flavour profile SJP enjoys herself and loves to share with friends, you too are invited to discover and fall in love with it from the very first sip! 

Lifted aromas of ripe tropical fruit mingle with notes of citrus peel and hints of exotic guava. Subtle oak frames the fruit, lending softness and early approachability on the palate. The wine quickly fills the mouth, where balanced acidity emerges through layers of supple, savoury and gently sweet fruit. The finish is long, smooth, and satisfying.
