Nestled at the foot of the hillside in Aloxe-Corton, Château Corton Frey stands as one of Burgundy’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the late 19th century atop 15th-century cellars, this historic estate is the region’s most photographed site after the Hospices de Beaune. Legend holds that Emperor Charlemagne once owned vineyards here in the 8th century, planting Chardonnay to preserve the whiteness of his beard.

The estate’s seven hectares span thirteen prestigious appellations, forming part of Burgundy’s intricate mosaic of climats, where the expression of terroir has been honed over centuries. Under the ownership of Caroline Frey, a highly regarded oenologist and winegrower, Château Corton Frey brings together Burgundian tradition with a sustainable, precision-driven philosophy. With intentionally limited production, each wine is crafted to reflect the purity and character of its origin.

Sourced from a vineyard currently in conversion to organic farming and cultivated according to biodynamic principles, this Grand Cru reveals a pale gold hue with green highlights in the glass. The nose balances mineral tension with richness, revealing expressive notes of honey, shortbread, delicate citrus, and subtle wildflowers. Medium in weight yet concentrated in flavour, the palate weaves wet stone character with layered texture, reflecting the warmth of the vintage. The chalky finish unfolds with crystalline precision and lifted citrus energy, culminating in a wine of remarkable structure and finesse.

Verto is expertly crafted using a Riesling Verjus blended with a Green tea base, then infused with elderflower, peach, juniper, and cinnamon. This unique blend replicates the experience of a sparkling Riesling, with a crisp, dry finish and impressive length and mouthfeel; think Cremant D’Alsace! With only 39 calories per glass, Verto is the perfect choice for health-conscious wine enthusiasts.

The mission was to create a zero-alcohol beverage that would rival its alcoholic counterparts in terms of complexity and flavour profile… and Verto achieves just that.

Fresh & Juicy

Fabio Motta, originally from Lombardia, began his adventure as a winemaker in Bolgheri in 2010 when he was thirty years old. However, he first came to the area 10 years earlier when he ventured into the vineyards to take part in the grape harvest as a student of agronomy.
It was love at first sight in more ways than one; he fell in love with the territory and met his future wife, Benedetta Satta, daughter of Michele Satta, a vintner who has been part of Bolgheri’s history and progress over the years.

This Bolgheri blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 12 months in cement. Fabio Motta describes it as the wine that launched his winemaking journey, expressing everything he loves about Bolgheri: clear, juicy fruit, harmony, and effortless drinkability. Merlot brings softness and volume, Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure, while the Sangiovese contributes freshness and complexity. Lighter and fresher than expected for the region, it shows silky tannins and aromas of cooked cherry, blackberry jam, mint, and rosemary.

Pair with typical Italian fare - Le Pievi shines next to pizza, light meats and pasta.

Sourced from three vineyard areas across the Okanagan Valley, this cuvée opens with lifted floral and fruit-driven aromas before unfolding into a vibrant palate of cherry and blood orange, accented by notes of wild fennel and candy-cane beet. Juicy and bright on the entry, it’s beautifully balanced by fresh acidity and a gentle tannin structure. An intentionally pretty, easygoing style of Pinot Noir, crafted to be enjoyed now.
