Founded in 2003 as one of the earliest wineries on the Naramata Bench, JoieFarm has grown from restaurant roots into a celebrated destination, with a tasting room opened in 2015 and the En Famille Wine Club launched in 2020. As both farmers and winemakers, the estate crafts vibrant, approachable wines that pair beautifully with food, balancing West Coast ease with European joie de vivre. Community remains central, honouring the restaurateurs who championed the winery early on, the team who brings the wines to life, and the neighbours and artisans who inspire its work. Overlooking Lake Okanagan and the surrounding mountains, JoieFarm reflects the beauty of its valley and the wonder of this magical place in every bottle.

Rich yet beautifully balanced, this Chardonnay opens with enticing aromas of baked pecan, meringue, and vanilla bean that are uplifted by fresh white flowers and layers of crisp orchard fruit. The palate is creamy with medium-weight, energized by mouthwatering acidity that carries flavours of lemon curd and crisp apple skin, interwoven with gentle French herbs and cinnamon spice. The finish is long and refined, with lingering notes of straw and spice, resulting in a style that's both comforting and complex.

92 Points - Michael Godel

En Famille is the line of signature Joie wines that define, but also distinguish a family's and team's fulfillment for everything they’ve accomplished. All in the family celebrates a history and the present, here with chardonnay from a terrific vintage that takes every binate advantage given. Is this not the epitome of a Naramata season, to induce seduction, generosity and philanthropy. Gives and then gives some more, like ripe stone and orchard fruit at peak ripeness, the subtlety of barrel and fineness of acidity. The sweetest kind and thing that could be, natural, at hand to induce consequential pleasure and gratification. Drink 2025-2028.

There's a lot of pleasure to this Chardonnay. Bold with pear and peach fruit showing nice density. It has lovely texture with some meal and spice character, as well as toasty richness. This delivers plenty of flavour, but it is layered.
