Crafting expressive, site-driven wines from regions such as Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, and Coonawarra, Elena has built an international reputation in a traditionally male-dominated industry while championing collaboration, mentorship, and greater inclusivity in wine. True to its playful motto — “for the boots worn in the vineyard and the heels worn to wine award dinners” — Sister’s Run balances approachability with serious craftsmanship, delivering regionally expressive wines with fine wine character at exceptional value.

Notes of black cherries dipped in milk chocolate kick things off on the nose followed by hints of violet florals and sweet clove spices from tempered oak. An underlying herbal streak underscores the sweet aromatics, adding a savoury, almost minty edge beneath the fruit. Smooth tannins provide a rounded grip on the palate and are wrapped up by flavours of warm stewed plums with a touch of Pastis. Hallmark notes of cracked black pepper cascade into the rich finish. The balance between ripe fruit and tannin, along with underlying acidity, makes this big red incredibly drinkable.

Nicolas Potel was an iconic figure and pioneering force in Burgundy’s modern winemaking landscape. A native of Volnay with winemaking in his blood, he built his reputation early on through a natural affability that helped him establish a broad and lasting network within the wine trade. After studying viticulture in Beaune and gaining experience both locally and abroad, he founded Maison Roche de Bellene in 1997 - a négociant house dedicated to small-lot bottlings with a strong focus on sourcing old-vine parcels. He later expanded the range with Collection Bellenum, which specializes in the acquisition and release of carefully cellared, well-aged vintages from growers with a tradition of long-term ageing. An early advocate of organic farming and a consistent champion of terroir expression, Potel was widely respected for his vision and integrity; he tragically passed away in the summer of 2025, leaving behind a significant legacy in Burgundy and beyond.

Crafted from vines that boast an average age of 48 years, this Bourgogne offers a pure expression of Chardonnay, characterized by its freshness and lifted aromas. Ripe citrus, apple, and subtle toasted notes interplay on the palate and are supported by mid-weight, creamy texture. Drawn from one of the estate's oldest vines in Pommard, referred to as the 'House of God', showcases ripe, deep aromas of raspberries and licorice, touched with hints of spice and tilled earth. The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the Domaine's vineyards extend across the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

The name "Vau Ligneau," meaning 'valley of the little brook,' refers to its vineyard's location in a side valley on the left bank of the Serein. This wine is a quintessential expression of a classic Chablis 1er Cru, where the cool morning sun enhances its elegance and highlights the minerality and richness derived from the calcareous and clay subsoil. In the glass, it reveals a rich golden hue and delicate aromas of mint and exotic fruits. On the palate, it's full-flavoured, with precise acidity that elevates the fruit into a long, refined finish.

Raised amidst the vineyards, Alexandre Favier is part of a long line of winemakers in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. His grandfather, Noël Sabon, hails from one of the region’s most renowned winemaking families. Alexandre began his viticultural studies at the age of fifteen in Orange, completing his exams by 2001. Just a year later, at the age of twenty, he assumed full winemaking responsibilities at Domaine Chante Cigale when his father’s health declined. Today, Domaine Chante Cigale stands as one of the most important family estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The Cicada Blanc is an unusual yet harmonious blend of Grenache Blanc (40%), Viognier (30%), and Picpoul Blanc (30%). The Grenache Blanc and Picpoul are sourced from clay-limestone soils in Richerenches, Vaucluse, while the Viognier comes from the Northern Rhône. Vinified in stainless steel with a short one-week maceration, the result is an easy-drinking, unoaked French table wine with citrus and pear aromas, a soft, rounded palate, and a silky mineral finish.

Named in honour of Nicolas Potel’s great uncle, Jean Ferté—who led the syndicate that purchased Domaine de la Pousse d’Or in 1964, a property historically linked to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti prior to the French Revolution—this cuvée brings together fruit from two estate parcels.

The nose offers fresh aromas of red berry jam and allspice, with subtle, background hints of ruby port. On the palate, vibrant, medium-weight flavours are generous and juicy, supported by fine-grained, gently drying tannins. The finish is fruit-forward and approachable, making this a wine that is drinking well now.

The Monts de Boncourt vineyard, planted with Chardonnay in 1999 on a 21.4-are clay-marl terroir, produces rich and complex wines. The soil is mechanically maintained to control weeds and prevent erosion. A nearby stone quarry creates a unique micro-climate by radiating stored heat during the night after hot, sunny days. Ripe and fresh aromas of pear, apple, and a hint of wet stone lead to rich, full-bodied flavours with good persistence. A distinctive saline character shines through, highlighting the unique terroir above Nuits and Vosne, making this a standout value worth noting.

Ahi Kāi is a pioneering Marlborough wine company focused on producing exceptional single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc through ethical, long-term partnerships with growers. Founded by internationally acclaimed winemaker Matt Thomson, Master of Wine Sophie Parker-Thomson, and foundation grower John Blackmore, Ahi Kā challenges the region’s low-value, commodity-driven model by prioritizing quality, sustainability, and transparency. The term Ahi Kā is a concept rooted in Te Ao Māori, traditionally translating to “keep the home fires burning.” Historically central to land rights in early Aotearoa (New Zealand), it has evolved in a modern context to represent guardianship and sustainable stewardship; Caring for the land with the intention of passing it on to future generations in a better state than it was found.

In 2010, brother & sister duo Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos following an invitation from a local Douro family who had been inspired by the ambition and creativity of the sibling winemakers. While both contribute to the winery, the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s personal passion from the start. She even relocated with her children to the Porto area to be closer to the vineyards, allowing her to focus her renowned energy on growing her Douro career and nurturing Maçanita’s rising profile.

Os Canivéis Tinto hails from a collection of parcels in Carlão, Cima Corgo, with vineyards aged 80–92 years at 510 meters. Crafted from a blend of 11 traditional grape varieties, it reveals aromas of fresh fruit and dark chocolate. The palate is creamy on entry, framed by firm, enduring tannins and an elegant structure. With very limited production, Os Canivéis stands as a true Douro gem, showcasing the region’s artisanal winemaking traditions and meticulous attention to detail.

The wine opens with pure aromas of stone fruit and fresh flowers, followed by a silky, savoury palate defined by a pleasing saltiness and iodine-tinged minerality. Lifted aromas of ripe tropical fruit mingle with notes of citrus peel and hints of exotic guava. Subtle oak frames the fruit, lending softness and early approachability on the palate. Château Plaisance, an 18th-century country manor once owned by the renowned Bordeaux restaurateur Dubern, is set on a steep, sun-drenched hill in the heart of Bordeaux. Its 23-hectare vineyard, planted with 80% Merlot on clay soils and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon on sandy gravel, benefits from exceptional sunshine and warm temperatures, ensuring full grape ripening. Under the stewardship of Philippe Magrez, a fourth-generation winegrower, modern winemaking techniques are seamlessly combined with the finest Bordeaux traditions. The estate’s carefully crafted wines capture the character of the terroir, reflecting a deep respect for heritage and a passion for excellence in every bottle.

The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the Domaine's vineyards extend across the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

Blanchot is located on the east of the Grand Cru appellation, and although the sun exposure is somewhat limited, it remains a paradoxically warm terroir. Its steep slope and sheltered location result in slow ripening conditions. Exceptionally atypical, Blanchot is a real eye-catcher: it reveals itself with a great depth, predominantly floral on the nose and with a mineral, pure and magical personality. On the palate is round and powerful, with hints of undergrowth and white flowers.

The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese. 

Abundant in character, the Cortonesi Brunello di Montalcino La Mannella Riserva beautifully reflects the warm, sunny, and luminous 2019 growing season. Layers of dark plum, black cherry, and cassis are complemented by notes of sweet spice, tobacco, and balsamic herbs. Planted in 1998 on a south-east facing hillside with shallow limestone soil, this vineyard has been organically farmed since its inclusion in the estate. The nose reveals ripe fruit notes with a subtle hint of port-like character, while the palate offers medium-weight and refined flavours, highlighted by pronounced minerality. The finish is dusty and firm, though exceptionally well-balanced - A wine for the cellar.

Created to honour Nicolas Potel's mother, Françoise, the grapes for this wine are sourced across 5 Premier Cru sites. The mid-palate shows fine density, supported by sleek, well-defined tannins with building grip. The finish is robust and balanced, with a touch of austerity, suggesting excellent aging potential.
