Notes of black cherries dipped in milk chocolate kick things off on the nose followed by hints of violet florals and sweet clove spices from tempered oak. An underlying herbal streak underscores the sweet aromatics, adding a savoury, almost minty edge beneath the fruit. Smooth tannins provide a rounded grip on the palate and are wrapped up by flavours of warm stewed plums with a touch of Pastis. Hallmark notes of cracked black pepper cascade into the rich finish. Heirloom Vineyards was founded in 2000 by Elena, a young winemaking student, and Zar, an eccentric wine judge, whose shared passion for wine—and their ensuing love story—became the foundation of the project. Sourced from hand-tended, old-vine Shiraz grown in the neighbouring vineyards of the McMurtrie Family in McLaren Vale, this wine opens with a layered bouquet of shaved white and liqueur chocolate, fresh herbs, fennel, and anise, complemented by ripe plums, dried fruits, and a symphony of freshly ground peppercorns—green, black, pink, and white. The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the domaine's vineyards extend all over the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

This Premier Cru site generates very fruity wines with notes of crunchy orchard fruits such as apple and pears with plenty of citrus influence. The palate is lush and complex with layered fruit aromas underscored by chalky, saline-tinged tones. There is a charming vivacity that is characteristic of the stony soil of 1er Cru Vaillons, which makes its way into each bottling.

Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Their rigorous selection process and green cultivation methods yield high-quality grapes, resulting in a wide range of wines across their Classic, Election, and Riserva lines.

Pinot Grigio is one of Italy’s most prominent and notable white wines. In the subalpine climate of Alto Adige, the grapes develop slowly, achieving a perfect balance of ripe fruit while retaining the elevated acidity that defines this style.

Expect soft notes of acacia and orange blossoms with nectarine and yellow pear notes to unfold on the palate with shades of salt-tinged sweet spices lasting long into the well-defined finish.

Founded in 2015 by visionary oenologist Nikos Karatzas, Oenops Wines is based in the historic winemaking region of Drama in Northern Greece, the legendary land of Dionysus. Drawing on experience gained at some of the region's leading wineries, Nikos set out to champion Greece's indigenous grape varieties by partnering with dedicated growers who farm exceptional old vineyards across the country. Named after the Piedmontese dialect term Punset, meaning “beautiful hill” or “point,” this historic estate in Neive was once noted by the Counts of Castelborgo for rising above the region’s autumn mists. Family-owned for generations, the winery officially began bottling commercially in 1964 under Renzo Marcarino, before Marina Marcarino led its transformative shift to certified organic farming in the early 1980s. Today, guided by biodynamic principles and a deep respect for natural balance, the estate is known for its minimally interventionist approach, grass-covered vineyards, and thriving biodiversity that work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Produced from a 1-hectare parcel in the San Cristoforo cru, Punset’s Campo Quadro Riserva sits alongside the estate’s Basarin Riserva, though the two are vinified in distinct styles.

In the glass, it shows an elegant, structured profile with an intense colour and a complex aromatic range that unfolds from ripe fruit to more delicate floral tones, layered with spice, chocolate and subtle buttery notes. Rooted in a winemaking tradition spanning four generations, Les Vignobles Aubert has grown into one of the Southern Rhône’s leading family-run wine groups, uniting six estates and châteaux across the region’s left bank. Led today by Alain, Claude, Yves, Christine, Aurélien, and the next generation of the Aubert family, the group cultivates nearly 480 hectares across 11 Southern Rhône appellations, combining deep respect for terroir with a modern, quality-driven approach to viticulture and winemaking. From the historic vineyards of Plan de Dieu to the elevated freshness of Domaine Autrand and the recent addition of Château Saint-Jean, the family’s wines are recognized for their consistency, authenticity, and exceptional value.

The Château Le Grand Retour estate, acquired in 1999, lies within the Plan de Dieu AOC—an area defined by its vast beds of ancient Rhône river stones, where, as the Aubert family puts it, the vines “drink the sun and live on stones."

The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide.

Sourced from the single-vineyard Liebich site, perched high in the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat, this wine captures both the richness and vitality of its elevated origin. The nose is reminiscent of creamy, freshly scraped vanilla pod and a mélange of dark berry compote draw. On the palate, flavours of satsuma plum and blackberry are layered with classic notes of coffee bean and subtle pepper spice. Lubanzi is a socially driven South African wine company founded in 2014, inspired by a backpacking journey along the country’s remote Wild Coast. Bodega Bideona represents a new generation of Rioja wines, defined by the precise origin of their grapes rather than winemaking techniques. Its 282 small vineyard plots, averaging 0.3 hectares and over 50 years old, include vines planted between 1920 and 1960, reflecting a unique cultural and biological heritage. The Bideona Village-Wine range highlights the distinct character of Rioja Alavesa’s wine-growing villages, a nuance often lost during the industrialization of Rioja, when blending and technique overshadowed origin. These wines restore the importance of village identity, allowing each bottle to express the place it comes from.

Leza, a small village at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains, is home to vineyards planted in the first half of the 20th century. Situated at 580–610 meters above sea level, these vines offer a rare varietal and clonal complexity. The wine is structured and slow-ripening, shaped by the influence of altitude and the mountains. It reveals dark fruit flavours with an exotic, almost apothecary-like undertone, combining muscular structure with exceptional freshness and balance.
