Notes of black cherries dipped in milk chocolate kick things off on the nose followed by hints of violet florals and sweet clove spices from tempered oak. An underlying herbal streak underscores the sweet aromatics, adding a savoury, almost minty edge beneath the fruit. Smooth tannins provide a rounded grip on the palate and are wrapped up by flavours of warm stewed plums with a touch of Pastis. Hallmark notes of cracked black pepper cascade into the rich finish. Nicolas Potel was an iconic figure and pioneering force in Burgundy’s modern winemaking landscape. A native of Volnay with winemaking in his blood, he built his reputation early on through a natural affability that helped him establish a broad and lasting network within the wine trade. After studying viticulture in Beaune and gaining experience both locally and abroad, he founded Maison Roche de Bellene in 1997 - a négociant house dedicated to small-lot bottlings with a strong focus on sourcing old-vine parcels. He later expanded the range with Collection Bellenum, which specializes in the acquisition and release of carefully cellared, well-aged vintages from growers with a tradition of long-term ageing. An early advocate of organic farming and a consistent champion of terroir expression, Potel was widely respected for his vision and integrity; he tragically passed away in the summer of 2025, leaving behind a significant legacy in Burgundy and beyond.

Located in Traiguén in Chile’s southern Araucanía region, some 600 km south of Santiago, Baettig’s Viñedos Los Suizos site sits in a cool-climate zone shaped by volcanic soils, native forests, and abundant rainfall. With mild summers, cool, wet winters, and limited sunlight, conditions here allow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to ripen slowly and evenly. The vineyards are rooted in ancient volcanic soils rich in clay, loam, and deep stony layers, which promote balanced vine growth, excellent drainage, and a distinctive mineral character in the wines.

A Pinot Noir sourced from a combination of parcels, “Los Parientes” (meaning “the relatives”) refers to the close relationship between the different vineyard components that come together in the final blend.

Displaying inviting floral scents of wildflowers and rose hips with tinges of tobacco and fragrant dried herbs, the savoury notes are layered nicely against soft fruit tones of  blueberries and sour cherries. Round and juicy on the palate, the fruitiness is tempered by bright acidity and earthy nuances. Fine-grained tannins add density and pleasing texture that accompanies the fruit into the finish.

The Tomich family hails from the Adriatic Coast in Croatia where winemaking is a way of life. Jack Tomich Senior arrived in Australia in 1903, bringing with him all of the grape growing and winemaking skills of his forefathers. The family had always made their own wine for the family and grew sultanas and wine grapes after moving to the new irrigation settlement of Mildura in 1936. Jack’s son Ivan showed a real passion for wine, and by 1946 was producing and selling to local farmers. Three generations of grape growers and winemakers later, the Tomich family now owns one of the best sites in the Adelaide Hills and has kept its ancestral way of softly farming the land while advocating for regenerative growing practices.

The Tomich Hill Regional Series is made from estate-grown fruit sourced from high-altitude, cool-climate vineyards. This Pinot showcases intense aromas of dark berries and red cherries, with warm spices unfolding on the palate. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels that make up this Pinot. Sourced exclusively from a selection of the El

The nose is ripe and complex, declaring aromas of fresh bing cherries, rosehip and wild strawberries up front. Softer floral aromas of violet and lavender unfurl underneath the fruits giving way to notes of dried orange peel and damp forest floor. The palate it is tense, with extremely fine tannins and juicy acidity supporting bright notes of pomegranate, graphite-minerality and chalk. The tight finish and great structure make this one for the cellar.

Skerpioen (Scorpion) hails from a distinctive site between Dwarskersbos and Elands Bay on the West Coast. The 2024 vintage offers defined peach and citrus flavours with subtle tropical notes, evolving into the vineyard’s signature salty-brine character. With slightly lower acidity than usual, the aromatics suggest the wine is approachable earlier, making it one of the earliest-ready whites in the range.

Domaine André Aubert, has been formed over decades and generations by one very passionate wine family and today comprises of more than 280 hectares spread from north to south of the prestigious Southern Rhone Valley on the appellations Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône villages, Visan, and Grignan-les-Adhémar. 

This is a perfectly balanced blend of Grenache and Syrah from the southern Rhône appellation of Visan which is the realm of the Aleppo pine, of lavender and truffles – and of course, the vine. Owing to the Mediterranean climate, expect lush fruit aromas of blackberries and cherries, with hints of freshly crushed peppercorns. It's full-bodied, rich and juicy with a smooth finish.

Named after the Piedmontese dialect term Punset, meaning “beautiful hill” or “point,” this historic estate in Neive was once noted by the Counts of Castelborgo for rising above the region’s autumn mists. Family-owned for generations, the winery officially began bottling commercially in 1964 under Renzo Marcarino, before Marina Marcarino led its transformative shift to certified organic farming in the early 1980s. Today, guided by biodynamic principles and a deep respect for natural balance, the estate is known for its minimally interventionist approach, grass-covered vineyards, and thriving biodiversity that work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Produced from a 1-hectare parcel in the San Cristoforo cru, Punset’s Campo Quadro Riserva sits alongside the estate’s Basarin Riserva, though the two are vinified in distinct styles.

The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide.

Sourced from the single-vineyard Liebich site, perched high in the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat, this wine captures both the richness and vitality of its elevated origin. The nose is reminiscent of creamy, freshly scraped vanilla pod and a mélange of dark berry compote draw. On the palate, flavours of satsuma plum and blackberry are layered with classic notes of coffee bean and subtle pepper spice. Founded in 2014 around a dining table at Norwood’s Queen Street, C.W. Wines has grown from humble beginnings into one of Australia’s most successful family-owned wine businesses. With a portfolio spanning the Limestone Coast, McLaren Vale, and the Barossa, their vineyards and sourced fruit cover a wide range of beloved varietals, all processed at their state-of-the-art Stonehaven Winery. Originally built by Constellation Brands in the late 90s, the facility was acquired by C.W. Wines in 2021, where a host of distinctive labels, each exceptionally crafted to showcase the diversity of the South's regions and the full breadth of what Aussie wines have to offer.

Thompson Steer draws its name from the winding lakes and gently rolling fields that surround its vineyards in the country town of Mundulla where its grapes are grown. 

The Limestone Coast Cab opens with fragrant aromas of ripe cassis, dark plum, and black cherry, layered with hints of cedar and fresh mint that add a cooling lift. Full-bodied, it features rounded, blossoming tannins and balanced acidity, while the liqueur-like fruit is refined by oak aging, enhancing structure and depth without being overpowering. The finish is long and resonant, with sappy fruit framed by subtle notes of cocoa powder and dried tobacco.

First recorded in the 9th century as “in Montelio” in the Cartulary of Saint-Symphorien of Autun—meaning “on the small mountain”—the village’s history is deeply rooted in its landscape. The “Les Champs Fulliot” parcel, once home to quarries and open fields, takes its name from the Old French feuille (leaf) and bois foudre (thicket), evoking its natural origins.

From this warm vintage, the 1er Cru shows a colour of notable vibrancy and depth. The nose is expressive and inviting, led by plush black-skinned fruits and fragrant wildflowers. The 'Les Petites Lolières' vineyard lies on a path that descends from the Combe des Buis towards the source of the Lauve River. Legend has it that this path was once used by wolves who came to drink there.

The Savigny-lès-Beaune commune, one of the largest wine-growing villages in the Côte d'Or, boasts a rich and fascinating history. The term 'Les Guettotes', which lends itself as name to the Lieu-dit, dates back to the medieval period, referring to the lookout points once used to survey the countryside and protect travellers passing through the area.

The grapes for this wine come from a small, enclosed plot of approximately 1 hectare on a south-facing hillside. Brilliant ruby in colour, it offers an enticing bouquet of cherries and red currant, with subtle savoury nuances that support the ripeness of the fruit. Medium-weight yet powerful, the tannins are polished but present, while zesty acidity shapes the palate and balances the sweet fruit. The finish is long, leaving resounding notes of dried fruit and tea leaves.
