The philosophy of winemaker/proprietor Max de Pourtalès is not to make overly extracted wines, but rather to make fine and elegant expressions of place. Surrounded by their team and oenologists Eric Boissenot and Emilio de Longhi, Max and Astrid de Pourtalès create perfectly balanced wines that reflect the vintage and reveal the identity of the wine of Château Doyac.

This Cru Bourgeois Supérieur is a formidable red wine that captures the essence of the Haut-Médoc terroir. Deep ruby in color and vibrant aromas of dark berries, cassis, and subtle oak. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance of ripe fruit flavors, fine tannins, and a touch of spice, leading to a long and elegant finish.

The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide.

This Chardonnay grown from old vines opens with aromas of citrus, green apple, and delicate white peach, complemented by subtle hints of vanilla and oak. The medium-bodied palate offers flavours of lemon and pear with a touch of creaminess, balanced by bright acidity and a gentle oak influence. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with lingering notes of citrus and a subtle hint of nuttiness.

Lubanzi is a socially driven South African wine company founded in 2014, inspired by a backpacking journey along the country’s remote Wild Coast. The brand is named after a wandering dog that accompanied the founders for six days and nearly 100 miles of the trek—an experience that sparked the idea to share South Africa’s culture, landscapes, and wines with a global audience.

Working with respected winemaking partners including Trizanne Barnard and Bruce Jack, Lubanzi produces expressive wines that reflect the country’s diverse terroirs. The company also maintains a strong commitment to social impact, partnering with the Pebbles Project to support health and education initiatives for families living and working on South Africa’s wine farms.

Inspired by the freshness and fragrance of Beaujolais, this expressive Cinsault is crafted from 36-year-old dry-farmed vines grown in the southern Swartland. Once considered a supporting player, Cinsault is enjoying a revival as one of the region’s most exciting varieties, showcasing its ability to deliver elegance, charm, and character.

Bright cherry in colour, the wine offers aromas of raspberry and blueberry, layered with a subtle smoky undertone. The “Rainboat” illustration on the front label is a sign of the vibrant, energetic wine inside. Sketched by acclaimed Cape Town urban artist Chris Auret—whose work can be seen adorning bridges and buildings throughout the city—the playful artwork perfectly captures the spirit of this unique wine. 

Bursting with aromas of strawberry, pomegranate, pink apple, and candy floss, with subtle hints of dry cider, this zesty wine offers a truly unique flavour experience. The palate layers tart red fruits, lemon drop, and tea leaf alongside a playful sweet-and-sour tension more reminiscent of kombucha than traditional wine. Wildly fermented with zero added sulphur and bottled unfined and unfiltered in the style of méthode ancestrale, it's low in alcohol but high in energy. Located in San Patricio del Chañar in Neuquén Province, Bodega Malma was born from a pioneering winemaking project at the southern edge of Argentina, quickly earning acclaim for its high-quality wines. Founded in 2004 and run by the Viola family, the winery is fuelled by a deep passion for Patagonia and its distinctive terroirs. In collaboration with consulting enologist Hans Vinding-Diers, Bodega Malma has carefully crafted its portfolio while exploring the potential of each micro-terroir for different grape varieties. Guided by a philosophy of sharing Patagonia with the world, the winery brings the region’s unique character to life in every bottle. 

Named in honour of the family's first generation who sought their prosperity in Patagonia, the Chacra La Papay collection showcases Bodega Malma’s commitment to producing wines of substance without compromising approachability.

This fruit-forward style of Malbec shows bright aromas of raspberries, crunchy plums and cherries on the nose. The palate echoes the bright red fruit, revealing delicate violet florals and hints of vanilla spice from gentle oak ageing. Fresh and well-balanced, it combines structure with an easy-drinking style and plenty of character.

Volcanic & Floral

A breakout star in the Etna DOC of Sicily, Tornatore has become one of the region's largest and most respected wineries. Established back in 1865, the estate continues to be run by the same family who have acted as the faithful custodians of the land for generations. Tending to high altitude vineyards on the north side of the active volcano, the conditions are ideal for indigenous grape varieties to thrive. The wines are distinctive bottlings which encapsulate the essence of Mount Etna and effortlessly reveal the unique characteristics that make the region one to watch.

The wine has enticing floral scents of spring blossoms and Spanish broom that mingle with summer orchard fruit and wet stone. The tangy, savoury palate boasts finesse and mineral tension, delivering juicy Meyer lemon, creamy pear, yellow apple and saline before a white pepper finish. Fresh acidity brightens the rich flavours.

This is perfect with young and medium-aged cheeses, poultry and fish.

Founded in 2015 by visionary oenologist Nikos Karatzas, Oenops Wines is based in the historic winemaking region of Drama in Northern Greece, the legendary land of Dionysus. Drawing on experience gained at some of the region's leading wineries, Nikos set out to champion Greece's indigenous grape varieties by partnering with dedicated growers who farm exceptional old vineyards across the country. Through these close collaborations, Oenops crafts wines that faithfully express both variety and terroir, combining meticulous winemaking with outstanding fruit sourced from distinctive vineyard sites to produce wines of remarkable authenticity and sense of place.

The winery's DOTS series showcases highly acclaimed, single-varietal wines made from Greece’s distinctive grapes, each expressing a refined and complex sense of character. The name “DOTS” is inspired by the optical illusion featured on the label, where the name of each grape variety is subtly revealed through a pointillist arrangement of coloured dots.

Sourced from exceptional terroirs in Naoussa and Amyntaio, this wine beautifully captures the essence of Xinomavro — lively, authentic, and true to the character of the land from which it comes. Showing a vibrant medium ruby colour, it opens with bright aromas of cherry, ripe strawberry, floral notes, and subtle spice. The palate is energetic and generous, with layers of tangy red fruit, juicy tannins, and refreshing acidity that bring balance and finesse. A long, intense finish completes this beautifully structured expression of the variety.
