Meyer Family Vineyards have been crafting wines in the Okanagan Valley since 2006. Voted one of the top wineries in Canada, they focus on small lot productions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir drawing heavily from Burgundian influences.

The family owned “McLean Creek Road Vineyard”  has a predominantly steep southerly aspect with soil comprised of alluvial and glacial deposits, making up a mix of gravelly and sandy loams. The family's philosophy is to manage each block separately and treat each vine individually. Although Meyer Vineyards not certified organic, they practice organic/sustainable farming principles.

This wine presents aromas of ripe dark cherries, autumn leaves and subtle smoke and toasty oak notes. Those aromas carry onto the broad and silky smooth palate, which is brightened by lively acidity and dusty tannins. The finish is long and pleasing. 

Top notch and top value - a classy wine! Pair this Pinot Noir with any salmon dish, baked, grilled, or fried. It would also pair nicely with seafood.
