Garage Wine Co was quite literally started in a garage in 2001, by Etobicoke expat Derek Mossman and his wife Pilar Miranda. Since then, the dynamic duo have chosen to revive old vineyards in marginalized Chilean communities. They work mostly in the regions of Maule and Itata where they make highly coveted wines.
Wild blue and red berries lead the way, layered with dried flowers, white pepper, grilled herbs, and a touch of graphite. This full-bodied Syrah is flavourful yet fluid, brimming with juicy blue fruit, floral lift, and finely woven baking spices. Silky and refined with a spicy, impressively long finish, it carries depth without ever feeling heavy. A beautifully effortless expression from old, dry-farmed vines - sensual, engaging, and irresistibly drinkable now, though a few years in the cellar will only enhance its charm.
