Andrew Murray has been singularly and nearly maniacally focused on crafting Syrah for 30 years. Introduced to Rhône Valley varieties during family travels in France, Andrew Murray traded his UC Berkeley studies for UC Davis’ enology and viticulture program. He pursued his new mistress, Syrah, with an extended internship in Australia at the age of 18. His tryst evolved into a full-fledged love affair with his favourite variety. After selling his vineyard in 2005, Andrew reignited his passion by selecting vineyards throughout the Central Coast to tease out compelling flavours from his flirty temptress

The Syrah Tous les Jours is a quintessential Santa Ynez Valley Syrah. It is simultaneously fruit forward and earthy. This is a full-bodied wine, without ever going over the top. It is heavily inspired by Northern Rhone Syrah (Hermitage) and Australian Shiraz (Barossa Valley). The aromas and flavours are dominated by black cherry, raspberry, white pepper, forest floor and toasty oak. It is absolutely unique and special expression of Syrah. Moreover, It is a style that one can enjoy every day.

A big wine like this can hold up to the intense flavours of slow-roasted barbecue pork in a rich sauce.

A smoking value, the 2020 Syrah Tous Les Jours reveals a deep purple hue to go with gorgeous notes of ripe blue fruits, liquid violets, peppery herbs, and some background meatiness. Rich, fleshy, full-bodied, and mouth-filling, this is classic Cali goodness in Syrah and ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years.
