Since 2009, when the winery was founded, Fabio Motta has followed a clear and consistent winemaking philosophy shaped by his experience working alongside the renowned Bolgheri winemaker Michele Satta. Each wine reflects a personal vision that remains deeply faithful to both the land and the vintage, while never repeating itself from year to year. This approach has remained unchanged even following Fabio Motta’s integration into the Agricole Gussalli Beretta group, reinforcing his belief that wine is inseparable from both the individual who crafts it and the vineyard from which it originates—together defining the value, personality, and uniqueness of every bottle.
Each label is the result of careful, deliberate choices aimed at expressing the character of the Bolgheri terroir through respectful, precise, and timely work in both the vineyard and cellar. Rather than adhering to fixed formulas, the wines instead interpret each season and soil type with an artisanal sensitivity that allows their true expression to emerge.

Bolgheri Superiore Le Gonnare was created to express the outstanding quality and distinctive character of its namesake vineyard, crafted exclusively from the estate’s finest grapes. Sourced from the highest vineyard site, with its cooler exposure and significant clay content in the soils, the wine benefits from an exceptional balance of altitude, aspect, and terroir that allows for a slow, complete phenolic ripening of the Merlot, shaping its refined structure and palate definition. Merlot provides the wine’s core of richness and harmony, while Cab Sauv contributes depth, structure, and complexity through its firm tannic framework, supporting both balance and long-term ageing potential.

An intense and precise bouquet opens with aromas of violet and red rose, layered with blackberry, black cherry, and plum, followed by subtle hints of apricot and myrtle berries. The finish reveals more savoury and aromatic complexity, with notes of coffee beans, liquorice root, mint, and eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine is full yet elegantly poised, with fine, well-defined tannins supported by vibrant acidity. The finish is long, fresh, and savoury, echoing both fruity and balsamic nuances.

Zesty & Mineral

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara. 

This Riesling shows why we get so excited about Riesling from Lincoln Lakeshore! The nose explodes with beautiful apricot-pith, peach-cobbler, lime-leaf, cardamom, and honey aromas. Those flavours continue on the palate while adding lemon-rind, honeycomb, elderflower and the distinctive stony minerality. This is a classically mid-weight Riesling but has lovely full texture, coming both from the vineyards and the lees aging. As the wine sweeps across the palate towards the finish, the balance of sweet and salty is sublime, with a bright green leafiness and flinty/minerally sensation appearing in waves, leading to an amazing, crunchy finish. The wine will age well for the next decade.

Located in the heart of Chile, the Maule region is one of the country’s most diverse and historic wine areas, with vineyards dating back to the 18th century. Set at 35° south, it enjoys a temperate Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters that clearly define the growing season. The region’s soils, shaped by ancient coastal mountain geology, are predominantly granite-based with clay and iron influences, forming deep, well-structured profiles that support healthy vine development and expressive wines.

The name Los Padrinos (“The Godfathers”) reflects Vinos Baettig’s role as the new custodians of the historic El Coronel de Maule vineyard in D.O. Cauquenes, acquired in 2022. That same year marked the inaugural vintage of Selección de Parcelas Los Padrinos, crafted from selected Cabernet Sauvignon parcels, complemented by fruit from carefully chosen old-vine growers in the surrounding area.

A striking expression of old-vine Cab, seamlessly balancing structure, depth, and vibrant energy. The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide.

Sourced from the single-vineyard Liebich site, perched high in the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat, this wine captures both the richness and vitality of its elevated origin. The nose is reminiscent of creamy, freshly scraped vanilla pod and a mélange of dark berry compote draw. On the palate, flavours of satsuma plum and blackberry are layered with classic notes of coffee bean and subtle pepper spice. The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese. 

Deep ruby in colour, the nose is complex and expressive, revealing layers of red fruit intertwined with gentle spice. The palate is warm and juicy, unfolding with flavours of blackcurrant and blackberry alongside floral, mineral, and subtle underbrush notes. There is a sense of power and structure, with a velvety, medium-to full-bodied texture balanced by freshness. The finish is long and characterful, marked by ripe fruit, mineral and gently vegetal accents, with hints of campfire ash and leather. Hardy's constructed the Stonehaven Winery in 1998 with the purpose of showcasing the distinct qualities of the Limestone Coast region in Southern Australia. Following Hardy's acquisition by Constellation and subsequent brand expansion, the winery fell into dormancy after being sold. In early 2021, C.W. In 1985, Mario and Nancy Adamo transformed a 28‑room inn north of Toronto into Hockley Valley Resort, embracing a location that truly felt like home. Inspired by the vine‑covered hills of his hometown in Calabria, Italy, Mario envisioned the slopes of Hockley Valley as a place where grapes could thrive. In 2000, the first test vines on a newly purchased 77‑acre property were planted, and by 2015, Adamo Estate Winery was born. Today, this boutique, small‑batch winery boasts over 28,000 vines, farmed with organic and biodynamic principles. Led by winemaker Shauna White, the team crafts terroir‑driven wines that showcase both the character of Hockley Valley and select sites from Niagara’s most renowned vineyards.

In 1984 Neil Ellis sourced grapes from vineyards not of his own and produced wine in rented cellar space. These grapes were sourced in the Stellenbosch district and meant a lot of nosing around the restrictive quota system prevalent at the time.

Lubanzi is a socially driven South African wine company founded in 2014, inspired by a backpacking journey along the country’s remote Wild Coast. The brand is named after a wandering dog that accompanied the founders for six days and nearly 100 miles of the trek—an experience that sparked the idea to share South Africa’s culture, landscapes, and wines with a global audience.

Clos Bel-Air is a charming 3-hectare estate set on the clay-limestone hillsides bordering the village of Lussac in Saint-Émilion, where Merlot dominates the plantings alongside a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc. Managed under the Sustainable HVE designation since 2016, the vineyard embraces regenerative, biodiversity-focused viticulture that prioritizes environmental stewardship and soil health.
