Fruity & Flavourful

Named for a wandering dog who led two young travellers 6 days & 100 miles hiking across South Africa’s wild coast, Lubanzi is a socially conscious wine co. that focuses on crafting well made, fairly produced & sustainably grown wines that showcase the best of what South Africa has to offer and make a difference in the lives of the individuals & families living and working in South Africa’s winelands. At Lubanzi, we focus on limited intervention in our winemaking, meaning sustainability certified farms, natural fermentations driven by wild yeasts & no added colours, concentrates, or sugars. In addition to making great wines, our business was started with the mission to be a positive social & environmental force in the world.

A unique and sparkling rosé crafted from 100% Swartland-grown Cinsault and fizzing with a light, airy effervescence similar to Prosecco.

Dry, crisp and refreshing, with a bouquet of aromatics and a brilliant pale pink colour, there is minerality and balanced acidity on the palate, with notes of wild cherries and ripe summer strawberries.

A perfect pairing for weekend brunches or as a casual sipper amongst friends and family.

South Africa produces some of the world’s best value sparkling values. This attractive, NEW in Vintages, crown-capped sparkler is made from 100% Cinsault. It has a bright light orange-salmon pink colour an an attractive, relatively dry, ripe, citrus nose with some faintly spicy, apple blossom and mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fresh, ripe, crisp, elegant, plum-citrus-apple flavours that are very well balanced leaving a lingering, effervescent, bright finish. A pleasure to sip and dry enough to work with well with almost anything. This crowd-pleaser has 11% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21196 on the lower part of the glass bottle.
