The 'Les Petites Lolières' vineyard lies on a path that descends from the Combe des Buis towards the source of the Lauve River. Legend has it that this path was once used by wolves who came to drink there.

Showing a brilliant ruby colour with garnet highlights, the 2020 1er Cru is immediately compelling, offering ripe cherry and cranberry aromas, shaded with subtle notes of vanilla and rose petal. First recorded in the 9th century as “in Montelio” in the Cartulary of Saint-Symphorien of Autun—meaning “on the small mountain”—the village’s history is deeply rooted in its landscape. The “Les Champs Fulliot” parcel, once home to quarries and open fields, takes its name from the Old French feuille (leaf) and bois foudre (thicket), evoking its natural origins.

From this warm vintage, the 1er Cru shows a colour of notable vibrancy and depth. The nose is expressive and inviting, led by plush black-skinned fruits and fragrant wildflowers. The grapes for this wine come from a small, enclosed plot of approximately 1 hectare on a south-facing hillside. Brilliant ruby in colour, it offers an enticing bouquet of cherries and red currant, with subtle savoury nuances that support the ripeness of the fruit. Medium-weight yet powerful, the tannins are polished but present, while zesty acidity shapes the palate and balances the sweet fruit. Named after the Piedmontese dialect term Punset, meaning “beautiful hill” or “point,” this historic estate in Neive was once noted by the Counts of Castelborgo for rising above the region’s autumn mists. Family-owned for generations, the winery officially began bottling commercially in 1964 under Renzo Marcarino, before Marina Marcarino led its transformative shift to certified organic farming in the early 1980s. Today, guided by biodynamic principles and a deep respect for natural balance, the estate is known for its minimally interventionist approach, grass-covered vineyards, and thriving biodiversity that work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Produced from a 1-hectare parcel in the San Cristoforo cru, Punset’s Campo Quadro Riserva sits alongside the estate’s Basarin Riserva, though the two are vinified in distinct styles.

In the glass, it shows an elegant, structured profile with an intense colour and a complex aromatic range that unfolds from ripe fruit to more delicate floral tones, layered with spice, chocolate and subtle buttery notes. McArthur Ridge is a Central Otago winery located in Alexandra, New Zealand, where vineyards are planted on ancient glacial moraine terraces known as Brassknocker soils. The estate is recognized for producing cool-climate Pinot Noir that reflects the rugged mountain environment, combining careful vineyard management with a winemaking philosophy focused on purity, balance, and regional expression. Their Brassknocker range represents the winery’s “village level” Pinot Noir, showcasing the distinctive terroir and freshness that have helped establish Central Otago as one of the world’s premier Pinot Noir regions.

The Brassknocker Central Otago Pinot Noir is richly aromatic and expressive, offering notes of ripe cherry, dark plum, red berries, floral tones, oak spice, and mocha. Since 2009, when the winery was founded, Fabio Motta has followed a clear and consistent winemaking philosophy shaped by his experience working alongside the renowned Bolgheri winemaker Michele Satta. Sourced from hand-tended, old-vine Shiraz grown in the neighbouring vineyards of the McMurtrie Family in McLaren Vale, this wine opens with a layered bouquet of shaved white and liqueur chocolate, fresh herbs, fennel, and anise, complemented by ripe plums, dried fruits, and a symphony of freshly ground peppercorns—green, black, pink, and white. Ca del Monte is situated on the hillsides overlooking the village of Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella. This Ripasso shows a pure red-berry and black-cherry bouquet with notes of grilled herbs, iris, violet and almond. With a great depth of flavour, the wine is silky and warm with a surprisingly elegant mid-weight mouth feel that finishes with plump fruit and a well integrated spicy/oak kiss. 

Pair this rich wine with game meats, roast chicken, wood oven pizza and pasta with full flavoured sauces. ​It is also amazing when served with aged cheeses.

This Gruner Veltliner has fruity aromas on the nose. These aromas combine with a soft spiciness and a mineral quality on the palate. It has a medium body and a nice long saline finish.

This dry-farmed Friulian Pinot Grigio is different in style than its counterpart from Veneto. The wine wears a straw yellow robe with elegant copper-gold overtones. Exedra Negre is made exclusively with Garnatxa planted on limestone and clay soils, at 500 meters above sea level, with a breath-taking view to the beautiful mountains of Montserrat, in the outskirts of the village of Odena. A portion of the wine ferments and ages in amphora, while the other part does the fermentation in large concrete tanks.

This Catalan red is fresh and delightful, with aromas of red berries, delicate hints of spices and a note of sub-bois. On the palate is juicy and light, with smooth tannins and a great acidity.

The Rouge is a delicious blend sourced from six sustainably farmed vineyard parcels across Swartland, with vines ranging from 7-48 years old. Bursting with juicy dark berry flavours on the nose and palate, this Swartland gem is beautifully balanced, with a hint of cozy holiday spice on the finish. Each grape in the blend brings something special: Cinsault adds a lovely perfume, Tinta Barocca brings a touch of tannin, Grenache amps up the fruitiness, and Syrah ties it all together seamlessly.

Keint-He Winery & Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Prince Edward County. The winery has a strong focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; through which they truly express the best of the County with wonderful individual expressions. Keint-He’s approach to winemaking is as down-to-earth as it gets and their quality is second to none.

Strawberry, raspberry and red cherry aromas lead the way on the nose, with hints of sweet spice and tomato leaf in the background. Freshly crushed ripe berries continue on the palate, with dried leaf, minerality and spice in the background. The mouthfeel is lean and silky smooth, with very fine tannin and great County acidity.

This Pinot Noir is a very versatile wine given it’s acidity and low tannin. Pinot Noir pairs particularly well with duck, chicken, pork, and mushrooms.

The Cortonesi family has owned the La Mannella farm in Montalcino for decades and are devoted to the production of Brunello di Montalcino. Using the young Brunello grapes they craft this Rosso di Montalcino. It's an elegant wine, with aromas of black, blue and purple fruit, light spice, vanilla and just a hint of violet. The Palate is juicy and very well structured with soft tannins, making it a perfect food wine.

This Rosso di Montalcino brings out the best in rich pasta dishes, stews and mushrooms sauces. Pair it with lamb (roasted or stewed), risottos with tons of parmesan and tomato-based sauces or just a slice of Pizza.

Nicolas Potel was an iconic figure and pioneering force in Burgundy’s modern winemaking landscape. A native of Volnay with winemaking in his blood, he built his reputation early on through a natural affability that helped him establish a broad and lasting network within the wine trade. After studying viticulture in Beaune and gaining experience both locally and abroad, he founded Maison Roche de Bellene in 1997 - a négociant house dedicated to small-lot bottlings with a strong focus on sourcing old-vine parcels. He later expanded the range with Collection Bellenum, which specializes in the acquisition and release of carefully cellared, well-aged vintages from growers with a tradition of long-term ageing. An early advocate of organic farming and a consistent champion of terroir expression, Potel was widely respected for his vision and integrity; he tragically passed away in the summer of 2025, leaving behind a significant legacy in Burgundy and beyond.

An elegant, dry, medium-bodied Pinot Noir made from old vines. The nose is lifted and complex, with earthy, floral aromatics alongside ripe red berries and cherry. The palate is finely balanced and expressive, unfolding in layers of sweet spice, savoury herbs, and a subtle flinty note that frames a pure core of red fruit.

Nicholas Pearce Crew Sauvage Chardonnay VQA Niagara Peninsula 2023. Expect straw gold in the glass with gorgeous orchard fruits, apple and peach on the nose with notes of marine, hazelnut, lemon custard, and blonde caramel essence. This elegant wine offers a lovely texture on the palate, rich and round with biscuits and cream, while boasting a lip-smacking acidity with an herbal tea tannin.

This world class Niagara Chardonnay is ready to pair with just about anything, but we are thinking white fish in beurre blanc, cream based pastas or fresh salads garnished with lots of cheese.

Nicholas Pearce Crew Sauvage Pinot Noir VQA Niagara Peninsula 2024. The 2024 vintage is marked by elegance over power, brimming with brightness and approachability straight out of the gate, with not hard edges. Light ruby-red in the glass, high toned aromas of cherry, strawberry, pomegranate, backed by roasted herbs, spice and pepper. Great weight and poise for Ontario, but still the light to medium bodied Pinot Spectrum with balanced tannins and acids holding on to fine and lengthy finish.

Certainly a vintage on the edge, marked by many cold and wet days. However, as every mother does, mother (nature) kicked in and saved the day with a gloriously warm and dry finally to the cooler growing season.

The Weisze Freyheit is a distinctive blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc from Lake Neusiedl, showcasing a bold, modern skin-contact style with notable depth and structure. It opens with complex aromas of dried herbs, roasted nuts, brioche, and subtle mineral tones, layered with hints of orchard fruit and citrus blossom. On the palate, it is taut with a firm, slightly bitter grip, balanced by a juicy core and a lingering herbal, nutty finish. Overall, it is an uncompromising, intellectually engaging wine with a strong sense of character and precision.

Fresh & Balanced

In 2010, Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos after an invitation from a local Douro family who had read about these playful and ambitious sibling winemakers. Both siblings contribute to Maçanita Vinhos, but the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s passion project since the start, and Joana and her children even moved to the Porto area to be closer to the winery and vineyards. Setting down roots in the region has allowed her to focus her famous energy into expanding the rising star that is her Douro career.

This is a fresh, balanced rendition of a classic Douro red. Preserving the intrinsic bent toward the richness and power of the Douro, all while showcasing balance, minerality and elegance. Some of the vines tended at an altitude of 200m to 540 m altitude in schist soils, and others at 600m altitude in granitic soils elevation, both in Cima Corgo, Douro. This is a subregion that experiences extreme highs and lows from a temperature standpoint, with some of the greatest day-night temperature delta in Portugal. As such the fruit experiences extended hangtime.

Deep violet. On the nose, redolent of black and blue fruit tinged with violets and wet stone. On the palate, rich but balanced, with fresh acidity coupling the dark blueberry and plum fruit. Finishes long and spicy, with a big dose of flowers and minerals.
