Welcome to the intimate world of Quevedo, a small, family-owned winery where quality is a treasured tradition. The Quevedo family's viticultural heritage spans over five generations, beginning with Abel Gouveia Costa, who planted the first vines in 1889. Through the years, the family diligently expanded their vineyards, culminating in the 1970s when Oscar and Beatriz Quevedo modernized their facilities and established the Quevedo winery in 1993. Today, Quevedo oversees 100 hectares of vineyards and 25 hectares of organic olive groves, with current proprietors Cláudia and Oscar Quevedo Jr. continuing the legacy of crafting exceptional wines.

Vintage Port is renowned for its remarkable concentration, intensity and ability to develop beautifully over time, making it an exceptional choice for both special occasions and long-term cellaring. This expressive Vintage combines pure, vibrant fruit with layers of spice and impressive depth, delivering an intense, complex palate with a concentrated character and remarkably long, lingering finish.

Expressive and fresh, showing a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and black cherry, with delicate floral notes emerging as it opens. The palate follows with ripe dark plum and violet, framed by smooth yet structured tannins and a round, juicy texture. The long, intense finish brings layers of spice and red fruit, leaving a lingering sense of freshness and depth.

94 points - Luis Gutiérrez

They produce a Vintage Port almost every year, and the 2022 Vintage Port was cropped from a very warm and dry year with heat spikes that they compared with the 2017. It's their style of Vintage, less sweet, with only 76 grams of sugar, 19.5% alcohol and a serious and balanced nose, with very clean aromas, controlled ripeness and a very balanced palate with fresh fruit flavors, notes of dry hay and dark chocolate, tasty, clean and long, with fine tannins and an elegant finish. It was produced with a blend of 45% Touriga Franca, 35% Touriga Nacional and 10% each Tinta Roriz and Sousão. Sixty percent of the vines age for 22 years and the remaining 40% for 39 years. It fermented in stainless steel with mechanical treading and matured exclusively in stainless steel; none of their vintages mature in oak. 5,000 bottles produced.
