Robert, whose family is originally from Hungary, was born in Canada and grew up on a farm. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's country to start a winery. Sourced from old (up to 40 years) and young vines and harvested on two dates to retain the acidity and ripeness.
This Olasrizling is complex, with lovely aromas of white flesh peach with hints of white pepper and some smoky tones. Rich on the palate with nice minerality and vibrant acidity.
Sip it as an aperitif or pair it with some rantott hús (also known as Wiener Schnitzel), smoked fish or some cheese.
