The Leithaberg Chardonnay is a mineral-driven wine, shaped by limestone and slate soils and aged 17 months in large wooden casks with spontaneous fermentation. It opens with aromas of minerality, citrus, lemon balm, stone fruit, and subtle earthy herbal notes. The palate is taut and structured, with firm acidity, a creamy texture, and a lightly phenolic grip, leading to a saline, herbaceous finish. Focused and restrained, it showcases elegance, precision, and a clear expression of its terroir.
