Lighthall Vineyards is a small, proud, low volume and high quality winery located in enchanting Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. All their wines are produced in a non-interventionist manner and fuelled by passion as hearty as our vines. They also make cheese, designed to pair with their wines.

A traditional method blanc de blanc, Revelation spent 10 years sur lies. The result is a wine of incredible depth, with rich toasty aromas backed by preserved lemon citrus and citrus curd character. Only one cage was made, making this exceptional wine also a bona fide rarity.

Mineral & Zesty

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

The 2024 vintage was beautiful, and moderate, with a slight coolness in late August and early
September that really slowed ripening. Yields were average, and as a result, wines are very
concentrated, powerful with full flavour development and great acidity. The nose of this wine
is full of pineapple, lime zest, lemon-curd, and peach blossom followed by meringue and crème fraiche. The palate has a refreshing reflection of the nose, adding peach, pear, honeysuckle and spice, but it also showcases a mineral and wet stone characteristic that leads to the long,
elegant finish. 

This wine will age well for the next 5-8 years. Enjoy with brie, sole meuniere, and lemon-roasted chicken.

Cuvée Heritage is the third vintage of our flagship red blend, but the first called Heritage – in homage to Ilya & Nadia’s Ukrainian heritage, and with an intention of building a heritage of tremendous red blends at Leaning Post.

Founded in 2003 as one of the earliest wineries on the Naramata Bench, JoieFarm has grown from restaurant roots into a celebrated destination, with a tasting room opened in 2015 and the En Famille Wine Club launched in 2020. As both farmers and winemakers, the estate crafts vibrant, approachable wines that pair beautifully with food, balancing West Coast ease with European joie de vivre. Community remains central, honouring the restaurateurs who championed the winery early on, the team who brings the wines to life, and the neighbours and artisans who inspire its work. Overlooking Lake Okanagan and the surrounding mountains, JoieFarm reflects the beauty of its valley and the wonder of this magical place in every bottle.

Sourced from three vineyard areas across the Okanagan Valley, this cuvée opens with lifted floral and fruit-driven aromas before unfolding into a vibrant palate of cherry and blood orange, accented by notes of wild fennel and candy-cane beet. Juicy and bright on the entry, it’s beautifully balanced by fresh acidity and a gentle tannin structure. An intentionally pretty, easygoing style of Pinot Noir, crafted to be enjoyed now.

Bright & Creamy

Our favourite bubbly wine is, as always, made in partnership with Lighthall Vineyards in Prince Edward County. This is a small batch “Brut Blanc” Cuvée, made using the Charmat method bottled as VQA Ontario.

We had an instant crush on this new vintage: the beautiful bubbles are so nicely integrated and complement the wild floral and orchard fruit aromas, all backed by the bracing acidity of the Vidal grape when grown in our cool climate. The blend has Riesling (20%) and Pinot Gris (20%). Dangerously delicious in the glass, this wine is built for both celebration and gastronomy.

The Ward 5 Brut Blanc’s very well balanced acidity makes it perfect to pair with oily and fatty foods, such as cheese boards, salmon, roasted chicken or even fish and chips!

In 1985, Mario and Nancy Adamo transformed a 28‑room inn north of Toronto into Hockley Valley Resort, embracing a location that truly felt like home. Inspired by the vine‑covered hills of his hometown in Calabria, Italy, Mario envisioned the slopes of Hockley Valley as a place where grapes could thrive. In 2000, the first test vines on a newly purchased 77‑acre property were planted, and by 2015, Adamo Estate Winery was born. Today, this boutique, small‑batch winery boasts over 28,000 vines, farmed with organic and biodynamic principles. Led by winemaker Shauna White, the team crafts terroir‑driven wines that showcase both the character of Hockley Valley and select sites from Niagara’s most renowned vineyards.

Sourced from the Foxcroft Vineyard site, this Chardonnay opens with expressive aromas of honeydew melon and bright citrus, layered with subtle notes of vanilla soft serve from gentle oak aging. A fine mineral thread runs through the bouquet, lending lift and understated complexity.

On the palate, it's round and creamy, with flavours of pineapple core and a hint of lime zest that bring freshness and drive. Balanced by punchy acidity, the wine carries through to a long, citrus-tinged finish, leaving a clean and polished impression.
