The Tomich family hails from the Adriatic Coast in Croatia where winemaking is a way of life. Jack Tomich Senior arrived in Australia in 1903 bringing with him all of the grape growing and winemaking skills of his forefathers. The family owns 320 acres of vineyard in the Onkaparinga Valley, in the GI region of Adelaide Hills. The Hills are a premium cool climate area situated between Barossa and McLaren Vale within the same mountain range.

This Single Vineyard range of wines is handcrafted from Estate-grown fruit from a high altitude, cool climate vineyard site. The wines are single varietal: displaying elegance, complexity and dedication to style.

The Woodside Vineyard Shiraz shows vibrant dark fruits of blackberry, blackcurrant and plums. The flavoursome palate displays juicy mulberry and blueberries with
hints of pepper, spice and chocolate. Full-bodied but not heavy with building tannins that will be a great match with protein.

Try this with spiced Lamb Shawarma or Gyros to increase the natural spiciness of the wine!
