The Riserva comes from the oldest vineyards of the estate, known locally as the 'relics.' Château de La Chaize is among the oldest, most historic estates in Burgundy’s Beaujolais region. Cared for by the same family for nearly three and a half centuries, the estate has been passed on to new owners, the Gruy family, who are equally committed to managing the estate with the utmost care, while implementing an ambitious environmental plan.
2019 marks the return of a vintage that is typical of Beaujolais, showcasing all of the Gamay grape’s crisp freshness. The Brulhier vineyard is 0.5 hectares of vines on a small, steep parcel that backs up to the southern side of Mont Brouilly. The vines thrive at an altitude between 400 and 425 meters and enjoy full southern exposure. The soil contains Brouilly diorite (andesite) also referred to as "blue stone".
Revealing broad aromatic expression and length, the nose abounds with aromas of black fruits, red cherries and sweet spices, while the palate revels an added mineral-driven graphite note alongside the lush fruit. Seamless tannins and a fine bead of acidity, this wine is light on its feet but by no means lacks substance.
This will be a great accompaniment to any charcuterie board and will particularly do well with pates, terrines and rillettes.

Stéphane Aviron can be considered a pioneer is his approach to winemaking in Beaujolais, however he would just tell you that he’s simply returning to the traditional practices that have always made fantastic Gamay wines. Sustainable viticulture, extremely old vines and classic Burgundian techniques.
Situated in the north of the Beaujolais region, Moulin-à-Vent is one of the most famous crus and named after the local windmill – the literal translation of the name. This wine has expressive black cherry aromas and firm structure in the mouth. Its mineral underpinning and firm but ripe tannins help it age perhaps longer than any of the Beaujolais crus.
Expressive black & blue fruit and pretty florality on the nose, along with hints of savoury dried herbs and graphite. The palate is juicy and elegantly concentrated, suggesting notes of black raspberry and cherry flavours with spices that unfold with each sip. Violet petals linger into the finish, which shows a lightly dusty, tannic structure. A very pretty wine.
Try alongside dishes like osso buco or tournedos rossini.

Robert, whose family is originally from Hungary, was born in Canada and grew up on a farm. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's country to start a winery.
This Rajnai Riesling comes from a 45 years old vineyards in the outskirts of Mount Saint George in Hungary. This variety has found an excellent partner in this area, which conveys its elegant and volcanic traits perfectly. The wine is partially fermented in stainless steel tanks, which helps to maintain a vibrant acidity; and in big and neutral Hungarian barrels, which gives a special creaminess to the wine. On the nose, the oak is very well integrated into a range of aromas that goes from a very lively lemon and lime to orchard fruits notes. On the palate, it is beautifully round, with weight but with a zippy acidity and reminiscences of citrus pith.
A great pairing for spicy dishes. Strong Indian and Asian spices are a perfect match with Riesling because of its delicate sweetness and vibrant acidity.

Winemaker and proprietor Robert was born in Canada and grew up on a farm, though his family is originally from Hungary. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's home country to start a winery.
The estate is located just a few kilometers north of Lake Balaton, near Mount Saint George. This is an ancient and little known volcanic butte in Europe’s Pannon basin. Mount Saint George is cloaked with vineyards, both old vines and more recent plantings, many of which are being cultivated organically. Robert Gilvesy's goal in the vineyard and with wine culture is to authentically preserve and express the unique character of the mountain through his wines.
This sparkling is made from Furmint grapes sourced from the organic Váradi vineyard. Aromas of white-fleshed and citrus fruit with hints of toast. Delicate on the palate with a creamy texture, fine bubbles and yeasty notes complementing the aromas. A great example on how Furmint is well-suited to make sparkling wine, especially from volcanic soil.

2019 marks the return of a vintage that is typical of Beaujolais, showcasing all of the Gamay grape’s crisp freshness. The Côte de Brouilly is a blended selection of vineyard sites, located on the famous Mont Brouilly mountain.
This lighter-style red gives way to delicate black fruits, including cherries and plums wrapped in velvety tannins. There's a lovely balance between freshness and maturity, all framed by subtle structure. Soft spices and mineral nuance unfold on the finish offering added complexity to the long, juicy finish.
Wines made from Gamay will pair well with a wide range of dishes, thanks in part to its natural acidity and lighter tannins. Try with pork tenderloin with black tapenade or soft, creamy cheeses.

The Mönchhof (the “Monks House or Monks Court”), formerly a possession of the Cistercian Abbey at Himmerod, is one of the oldest wine estates in the Mosel Valley region of Germany. Three centuries after the monks built the vaulted cellars, which are still in use today, the monks completed the estate manor in 1509. After the secularization period, the Eymael family purchased the estate from Napoleon in 1804 at an auction in Paris.
The 2018 Mosel Slate Spätlese from the steep slopes around Ürzig owes its fine minerality to the blue Devon slates in which it is grown. The wine has an elegant bouquet of zesty lime citrus and floral notes of honeysuckle and white blossoms. The palate shows crunchy green apple, sliced pears with lightly herbal and flinty notes lasting into the finish. Tangy acidity balances the residual sweetness perfectly, creating a beautifully flavourful wine that is classic in style.

The Zottorinotto contrada is situated in the Northen slopes of mount Etna. The grape variety used is one hundred percent Carricante.
The grapes are harvested by hand, placed in small crates and quickly brought to the winery where they are manually selected on a belt-conveyor. Destemmed and slightly crushed, they are sent to the press where they are gently pressed. The must obtained is left to ferment without any temperature checking in wooden barrels of 225 liters. After the fermentation the wine obtained rests on the lees for about 8 months.
