The family's Expressions Range showcases classic interpretations of New Zealand’s most celebrated styles. The Sauv Blanc is a vibrant, character-filled wine brimming with tropical passionfruit and orange peel aromas, layered with fresh herbs and hints of aromatic gooseberry. Its mouth-filling palate is perfectly balanced by chalky acidity, adding length and structure. We love a good story. The Hunting Lodge site is rich in history and the stories live on through generations. Home of New Zealand's original Sauvignon Blanc commercial vines and once a real hunting lodge for the Kerr-Taylor family, this site has seen it's fair share of change over the years.

It's most recent chapter revives The Hunting Lodge's culinary past. With the Restaurant sitting at the beating heart of the site, our working winery is home to everything good - Food, wine, friends and family. Cheers to that.

Intensely aromatic and instantly appealing with fresh fig, kiwifruit, lime zest and jasmine characters, it's punchy and flavoursome in the mouth, delivering excellent weight and fruit purity. Delectably appealing with vibrancy and persistency. At its best: now to 2025Wonderfully fruited and immediately appealing, the wine shows passionfruit, feijoa, lime peel and subtle musky characters on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that is both powerful and delicious. It’s pristine and vibrant, and fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2022.
