Fabio Motta, originally from Lombardia, began his adventure as a winemaker in Bolgheri in 2010 when he was thirty years old. However, he first came to the area 10 years earlier when he ventured into the vineyards to take part in the grape harvest as a student of agronomy.
It was love at first sight in more ways than one; he fell in love with the territory and met his future wife, Benedetta Satta, daughter of Michele Satta, a vintner who has been part of Bolgheri’s history and progress over the years.

This Bolgheri blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 12 months in cement. Fabio Motta describes it as the wine that launched his winemaking journey, expressing everything he loves about Bolgheri: clear, juicy fruit, harmony, and effortless drinkability. Merlot brings softness and volume, Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure, while the Sangiovese contributes freshness and complexity. Lighter and fresher than expected for the region, it shows silky tannins and aromas of cooked cherry, blackberry jam, mint, and rosemary.

Pair with typical Italian fare - Le Pievi shines next to pizza, light meats and pasta.

Sister’s Run is a bold, value-driven Australian wine brand founded by acclaimed winemaker Elena Brooks, whose nearly 30 vintages of global experience span celebrated projects including Dandelion Vineyards, Heirloom Vineyards, and Cien Y Pico in Spain. Crafting expressive, site-driven wines from regions such as Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, and Coonawarra, Elena has built an international reputation in a traditionally male-dominated industry while championing collaboration, mentorship, and greater inclusivity in wine. True to its playful motto — “for the boots worn in the vineyard and the heels worn to wine award dinners” — Sister’s Run balances approachability with serious craftsmanship, delivering regionally expressive wines with fine wine character at exceptional value.

The Old Testament vineyard is located in the heart of the Coonawarra. The resulting wine produced suggests ripe mulberry and blueberry aromatics with gentle notes of  shaved pencil and menthol on the nose. Soft red berry fruits begin to unfold on the palate, finishing with a spiced-liqueur like quality, carried by velvety tannins and perfectly judged acidity.  

Complex & Powerful

Julien Bonneau, (Château Haut Grelot in the Blayais), and his friend Alexandre Lavigne, restaurateur in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, created in 2014 a range of wines, Grains d'Estuaire, from a 10 ha vineyard located in Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde, in the south of Charente-Maritime.

Crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and produced at a yield of 40 hectoliters per hectare. The vines thrive in gravelly-sandy loam soils on the Agrières hillsides, near the estuary, which contribute to the wine’s distinctive character and structure. Vinification is carried out entirely in barrels, ensuring a meticulous expression of the grape and terroir. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 16 months in 225-liter barrels, allowing it to develop depth, complexity, and refined balance. On the nose, it reveals woody, vanilla, and toasty aromas complemented by the freshness of red fruits. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, with enveloping tannins and a long, aromatic finish.

The philosophy of winemaker/proprietor Max de Pourtalès is not to make overly extracted wines, but rather to make fine and elegant expressions of place. Surrounded by their team and oenologists Eric Boissenot and Emilio de Longhi, Max and Astrid de Pourtalès create perfectly balanced wines that reflect the vintage and reveal the identity of the wine of Château Doyac.

This Cru Bourgeois Supérieur is a formidable red wine that captures the essence of the Haut-Médoc terroir. Deep ruby in color and vibrant aromas of dark berries, cassis, and subtle oak. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance of ripe fruit flavors, fine tannins, and a touch of spice, leading to a long and elegant finish.

Perfect for special occasions, Château Doyac pairs wonderfully with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Since 2009, when the winery was founded, Fabio Motta has followed a clear and consistent winemaking philosophy shaped by his experience working alongside the renowned Bolgheri winemaker Michele Satta. Each wine reflects a personal vision that remains deeply faithful to both the land and the vintage, while never repeating itself from year to year. This approach has remained unchanged even following Fabio Motta’s integration into the Agricole Gussalli Beretta group, reinforcing his belief that wine is inseparable from both the individual who crafts it and the vineyard from which it originates—together defining the value, personality, and uniqueness of every bottle.
Each label is the result of careful, deliberate choices aimed at expressing the character of the Bolgheri terroir through respectful, precise, and timely work in both the vineyard and cellar. Rather than adhering to fixed formulas, the wines instead interpret each season and soil type with an artisanal sensitivity that allows their true expression to emerge.

Bolgheri Superiore Le Gonnare was created to express the outstanding quality and distinctive character of its namesake vineyard, crafted exclusively from the estate’s finest grapes. Sourced from the highest vineyard site, with its cooler exposure and significant clay content in the soils, the wine benefits from an exceptional balance of altitude, aspect, and terroir that allows for a slow, complete phenolic ripening of the Merlot, shaping its refined structure and palate definition. Merlot provides the wine’s core of richness and harmony, while Cab Sauv contributes depth, structure, and complexity through its firm tannic framework, supporting both balance and long-term ageing potential.

An intense and precise bouquet opens with aromas of violet and red rose, layered with blackberry, black cherry, and plum, followed by subtle hints of apricot and myrtle berries. The finish reveals more savoury and aromatic complexity, with notes of coffee beans, liquorice root, mint, and eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine is full yet elegantly poised, with fine, well-defined tannins supported by vibrant acidity. The finish is long, fresh, and savoury, echoing both fruity and balsamic nuances.

Rich & Spicy

CW Wines’ Schoolhouse wines come from a Coonawarra vineyard with a little history — the site was once home to a schoolhouse established in 1888, and each year the winery releases a special bottle in its honour. Today, the Schoolhouse Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the estate’s signature wines, showcasing the depth and character of Coonawarra.

This is classic Coonawarra Cabernet with a modern, polished feel. Ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins, and subtle oak come together in a way that’s generous without feeling heavy, with plenty of structure and balance.

Blackcurrant and black plum lead the way, followed by warming spice and cooling dried herbs. Rich and concentrated on the palate, with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins, and a touch of toasty oak, it’s powerful but beautifully in check.

Pour it with roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, grilled meats, or a board of aged cheeses.

Bold & Juicy

Sourced from the estate’s 16-hectare vineyard, the Closerie Saint Roc is a blend composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Crafted according to a holistic, ecosystem-based philosophy incorporating agrobiology, biodynamics (Ecocert and Demeter certified), agroforestry, and permaculture principles, the grapes are hand-harvested and fermented by infusion with indigenous yeasts, without synthetic products. The wine is aged for 24 months in mature oak casks and bottled unfined and unfiltered, preserving its purity and sense of place.

A deep garnet in the glass, the Closerie Saint Roc impresses with notes of dark fruit and a hint of minerality. A modern Bordeaux style that focuses on clear fruit quality.

Pairs perfectly with braised beef cheeks, lamb, or aged Comté or Manchego.
