Textured & Mineral

When Michel Muré settled in Rouffach and planted his vineyard in the 17th century, he surely had little conception of the beautiful adventure that he was setting in motion for his descendants. In 1935, Alfred Muré extended the property with the addition of the 12-hectare (25-acre) wholly owned Clos Saint Landelin, foreseeing already its potential for exceptional quality. He replanted the terraces, ideally situated with their sunny exposure and shelter from the rain.

Nowadays it is Alfred’s grandson René, together with his children Véronique and Thomas, the 11th and 12th generations of the family, who are responsible for running this exceptional, wholly-owned vineyard and its neighbouring terroirs, using biodynamic methods.

Muré's Sylvaner is a lovely wine.  On the nose, it delivers delicate aromas and flavours of quince, green apple and mineral. On the palate, it finishes long and clean with a soft refined perfume. 

Lovely as an aperitif; a must with shellfish and asparagus dishes.

Winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. For him, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique.

Packed with fragrant aromas of rockmelon, guava and zesty citrus peel with a generous drive of lime-infused acidity through the sweetly fruited palate. Tropical and fresh showing great phenolic tang that emphasizes the superb balance between ripe fruit and bright acids. Classic and punchy in style, this is a stellar example of NZ Sauvvy B! 

This is a lovely wine to enjoy with light snacks and sunshine, but for something more substantial pair these bold flavours alongside south-east Asian cuisines that feature notes of lime, chilli and coriander. 

Tropical & Fresh

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Leaning Post's goal for their Sauvignon Blanc is to reflect the unique Niagara terroir and this wine always delivers.

Very intense tropical aromas of pineapple, passionfruit and mango lead to kiwi, lemongrass and lime-leaf on the nose. The palate has bright acidity matched by a creamy texture, with key-lime and starfruit battling with passionfruit for supremacy, while lemongrass and honeysuckle stand back and watch. The finish is the most surprising, with the flintiest, most “wet stones in a mountain stream” minerality we have ever seen on our Sauvignon Blanc!

Drink now or over the next 3 years. Enjoy with pan-fried halibut, fresh pesto; anchovy-paste pasta, or lemon herb roasted chicken.

Wife and husband winemaking team, Andrea and Chris Mullineux, set out with a shared vision to create authentic Swartland wines that reflect the distinct terroir of the region while embracing reasoned, sustainable farming practices and modern minimalist winemaking. Their commitment to quality and their deep respect for the environment and their employees have earned them acclaim both nationally and internationally, and has led to Mullineux being awarded South African Winery of the Year an unprecedented five times by the highly respected Platter’s Guide. 

The Old Vines White is sourced from Mullineux’s oldest sustainably farmed white wine vineyards, planted in the ancient decomposed granite soils of the Paardeberg. These exceptional vines, reaching up to 72 years of age, have adapted over decades to the region’s demanding terroir, producing wines of remarkable depth and character.

The wine opens with expressive aromas of fresh stone fruit and gently poached pear, leading into a nuanced palate layered with yellow grapefruit and ripe nectarine. Bright acidity brings freshness and precision, while subtle notes of ginger and citrus carry through to an elegant, lingering finish.

Delivery timeline:
We require one full case of each wine in order to build and fulfill three mixed cases. This process usually takes about 10-15 business days but may vary.

The Monts de Boncourt vineyard, planted with Chardonnay in 1999 on a 21.4-are clay-marl terroir, produces rich and complex wines. The soil is mechanically maintained to control weeds and prevent erosion. A nearby stone quarry creates a unique micro-climate by radiating stored heat during the night after hot, sunny days. Ripe and fresh aromas of pear, apple, and a hint of wet stone lead to rich, full-bodied flavours with good persistence. A distinctive saline character shines through, highlighting the unique terroir above Nuits and Vosne, making this a standout value worth noting.

Opening with tangy aromas of lemon yoghurt and sliced peaches with hints of mineral reduction layered between. Linear and medium weight on the palate with a soft, custardy texture and lightly pithy acids to balance, building to a salt kissed finish. 

Nutty & Waxy

Lighthall Vineyards is a small, proud, low volume and high quality winery located in enchanting Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. All their wines are produced in a non-interventionist manner and fuelled by passion as hearty as our vines. They also make cheese, designed to pair with their wines.

This wine is unmistakably County Pinot Gris. The aromas of pear and cantaloupe yogurt are delicate, rich, and inviting. The use of an Alsatian yeast strain and our method of partially fermenting in old French oak barrels give a smooth and rich mouthfeel, while the waxy finish of unctuous confit apple with a hint of nutmeg keep you coming back for more.

Choucroute garnie, foie gras, pork dishes, veal parmiggiano, chicken with cream sauces, and a traditional turkey dinner are all wonderful. Pizza bianca with a cream base, taleggio and pear is delightful, while meatier fish like halibut, cod, trout, or arctic char are ideal for the fish lovers. Chèvre and brie make great cheese options.

Fresh & Vibrant

Oenops was founded in 2015 by talented winemaker Nikos Karatzas, who produces a stunning range of distinctive wines from his newly established state-of-the-art winery. He sources indigenous and rare grape varieties grown on exceptional terroir focusing on cool-climate sites and old-vine plots, from carefully selected vineyards in Drama and Macedonia, which have been cultivated by ambitious winegrowers using an organic philosophy. 

Niko adopts a minimal intervention approach and vinifies plot by plot using stainless steel, concrete, oak barrels, and amphora. His aim is to source great fruit and craft wines that reflect the nuances of the native varieties and the identity of the terroir and as a result, he produces a collection of authentic, elegant, and delicious wines. 

After chilling the grapes at 5oC, they are carefully sorted and pressed, with a small percentage of whole cluster, in a pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and amphorae, vinifying each vineyard plot separately. After 2-4 months of aging on the fine lees, the wine is ready for bottling.

In the glass, Apla White is lively lemon green. It has great aromatic intensity and freshness, which comes from the aromas of citrus fruits and stone fruits. Lemon, lime, apple, apricot, and white-fleshed peach are intense, while a soft herbal character underlies, enhanced by the aroma of white flowers and citrus blossoms. In the mouth, it has similar aromas and a strong fruity character. It is of moderate intensity, with an equally fruity and balanced aftertaste.

Perfect with sea food and salads, sushi and Asian cuisine in general. A pleasure for all moments.

Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Their rigorous selection process and green cultivation methods yield high-quality grapes, resulting in a wide range of wines across their Classic, Election, and Riserva lines.

Pinot Grigio is one of Italy’s most prominent and notable white wines. In the subalpine climate of Alto Adige, the grapes develop slowly, achieving a perfect balance of ripe fruit while retaining the elevated acidity that defines this style.

Crisp, clean, and highly approachable, this wine opens with lively notes of citrus and orchard fruit, underscored by delicate hints of honey and toasted nuts. Fresh and palate-cleansing, it remains beautifully balanced by a full-flavoured palate with a mellow texture and generous depth.

Zesty & Aromatic

Gilvesy winery is located in the outskirts of Lake Balaton, near an ancient dormant volcano, in Hungary. Hungarian expat Robert Gilvesy moved back to his homeland from Canada to start this exciting project involving native grape varieties and volcanic soils.

A blend of organically grown Riesling, Olaszrizling and Furmint, three varieties that have existed in the wine region for a long time. In style, it's a rich, flavoursome wine with explosive aromatics. This is what a classic Mount Saint George wine is like: modern and spiced up with volcanic notes.

It's delicious when paired with summer meals: fresh salads dressed with dried fruits such as cranberries and walnuts, grilled fish with potatoes and zesty ceviches.

Blank Canvas is the personal wine range of husband and wife team, Matt Thomson and Sophie Parker-Thomson, MW. With a focus on Marlborough, Syrah from Hawkes Bay and Pinot Noir from Central Otago, the Blank Canvas wines are exciting, small-batch and increasingly recognized as the avant-garde of New Zealand wine. Ahi Kāi is a pioneering Marlborough wine company focused on producing exceptional single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc through ethical, long-term partnerships with growers. Founded by internationally acclaimed winemaker Matt Thomson, Master of Wine Sophie Parker-Thomson, and foundation grower John Blackmore, Ahi Kā challenges the region’s low-value, commodity-driven model by prioritizing quality, sustainability, and transparency. Their mission is to drive meaningful change in the Marlborough wine industry by delivering outstanding wines that celebrate provenance while ensuring growers are fairly rewarded for the quality they produce.

The term Ahi Kā is a concept rooted in Te Ao Māori, traditionally translating to “keep the home fires burning.” Historically central to land rights in early Aotearoa (New Zealand), it has evolved in a modern context to represent guardianship and sustainable stewardship; Caring for the land with the intention of passing it on to future generations in a better state than it was found.

This single-vineyard expression showcases intense passionfruit and blackcurrant aromas from one of Marlborough’s most highly acclaimed sites. A true standout, the palate bursts with tropical fruit, balanced by vibrant acidity and a richly textured, saline-driven finish.

Established in 2007 by the folks at Radford Dale winery in South Africa, the Land of Hope project aims to produce and market a range of premium wines wherein 50% of all profits are directed back towards previously disadvantaged employees, their families, and dependents. The Land of Hope Trust focuses on providing high-quality education and skill development opportunities, empowering individuals for long-term social upliftment and contributing to positive economic and democratic evolution.

Peter Sichel (of the Bordeaux négociant family) first discovered the valley of Cucugnan on a road trip with a friend in the 1960s. He was so spellbound by the place that he bought a house there and, in 1988, planted a vineyard. The project grew, albeit slowly, but the arrival of Peter’s thoughtful and environmentally inspired grandson, Alexander Sichel, has turned the Domaine Peter Sichel project completely around.

This single vineyard wonder showcases 100% Roussanne, sourced from 80-year-old vines thriving at an altitude of 500m on the Termenès terroir, where clay and marl soils blend harmoniously. With the Mediterranean climate cooling under its altitude and a hint of Atlantic influence, the grapes were meticulously hand-harvested on September 15, 2023, then gently pressed and fermented using indigenous yeasts—half in terracotta amphorae, half in 500L barrels—for approximately 20 days.

After a nine-month aging process, this exceptional vintage emerges, adorned in pale yellow with light green highlights. It offers a clean, expressive nose of white flowers and subtle citrus notes, while its intricate minerality and vibrant acidity provide a lively yet elegant structure. It pairs wonderfully with seafood, refined dishes, and Tommes cheese. This wine not only delights in its youth but also promises lovely surprises with age.

Established in 2005, Domaine de Bellene is dedicated to crafting expressive wines from old vines, guided by a strong commitment to sustainable, organic farming. Under the stewardship of winemaker and proprietor of the late Nicolas Potel, the domaine has focused on producing wines that faithfully reflect both place and vintage, while safeguarding the land and its traditions for future generations. Today, Domaine de Bellene is widely respected among Burgundy enthusiasts for its thoughtful range of wines spanning both celebrated and lesser-known appellations.

Premier Cru Les Perrières, located between Les Cent Vignes, Les Bressandes, and Les Marconnets, was originally planted to Pinot Noir but is particularly well suited to Chardonnay. Bellene acquired and replanted the vineyard in 2013, with the inaugural vintage released in 2017.

The wine opens with pure aromas of stone fruit and fresh flowers, followed by a silky, savoury palate defined by a pleasing saltiness and iodine-tinged minerality. Racy, finely detailed, and distinctly stony through the mid-palate, it finishes clean, dry, and beautifully balanced, with the potential to gain additional depth and complexity with a few years of bottle age.

Crafted to reflect the flavour profile SJP enjoys herself and loves to share with friends, you too are invited to discover and fall in love with it from the very first sip! 

Lifted aromas of ripe tropical fruit mingle with notes of citrus peel and hints of exotic guava. Subtle oak frames the fruit, lending softness and early approachability on the palate. The wine quickly fills the mouth, where balanced acidity emerges through layers of supple, savoury and gently sweet fruit. The finish is long, smooth, and satisfying.

This, Lighthall's first edition of concrete aged Chardonnay, paints the clearest image yet of county terroir. The flavours continue in the palate, but the star of the show is the opulent, luscious, yet elegant mouthfeel that lingers with finesse.

A brilliant seafood wine, this is a knockout with oysters, halibut, butter-poached cod,
lobster, crab, and scallops. Lemon chicken, rabbit, and quail are good meat options, while grilled asparagus, hummus, creamy orzo, and tofu souvlaki make delightful vegetarian picks. Rich, creamy, and mild cheeses are well balanced by the bright acidity and round texture.

The vintage allowed Chardonnay to ripen very slowly and evenly, gaining full flavour while keeping the balance of fresh crisp acidity. Immediately on the nose there is a wave of pineapple, lemon-curd, lime- leaf, and apricot pith, followed immediately by sea salt and wet-stone minerality. The palate brings beautiful richness but still balance with white peach, spice, and lemon-meringue mingling with crème fraiche, flint and roasted almond. The finish is silky smooth and exceptionally long but is eventually overtaken by wet-stone and crisp acidity. A truly beautiful example of Niagara Chardonnay!

Pair this wine with meaty fish like halibut or cod. Shellfish including lobster, shrimp, crab and scallops work stunningly with this Chardonnay.

The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the Domaine's vineyards extend across the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

Blanchot is located on the east of the Grand Cru appellation, and although the sun exposure is somewhat limited, it remains a paradoxically warm terroir. Its steep slope and sheltered location result in slow ripening conditions. Exceptionally atypical, Blanchot is a real eye-catcher: it reveals itself with a great depth, predominantly floral on the nose and with a mineral, pure and magical personality. On the palate is round and powerful, with hints of undergrowth and white flowers.

A beautifully balanced rendition of Chardonnay from the McLaren Vale, this wine sits between the flinty precision of Chablis and the richer texture of White Burgundy. The nose offers a refined mix of white stone fruit, citrus, and subtle tropical notes, with hints of rockmelon emerging on the palate. Bright acidity and delicate French oak provide structure and length, carrying the wine through to a fresh, elegant finish.

Maipe is a vineyard located in Taganana: a tiny village located in the Anaga Massif, in the North-east of Tenerife. The vines were planted ungrafted more than 120 years ago. In the early 1900's, the landslide of one of the mountains of the Monte de Las Vueltas buried the vineyard. Over the last 100 years, the vines have unburied themselves, creating a unique viticultural landscape; a sign of an heroic viticulture. Maipe was fermented with native yeasts in concrete, and was aged for five months in French oak barrels. The concept was to respect the traditional ancient method of the area using modern winemaking elements such as concrete tanks. Historically, the wines from Taganana have always had a golden hue due to the oxidation that happens when a wine is made in a porous environment, like concrete and wood.

Both on the nose and the palate, the wine shows a special complexity. On the nose, it is reminiscent of a warm and dry summer vintage, with aromas of orange peel, thyme, fennel, honeysuckle and sous-bois. On the palate it is dense and ample, due to the ageing over its lees, with no stirring. Maipe has tension, structure and balance on the palate thanks to its natural acidity.

Today, his son Jorge is slowly taking over the viticulture and winemaking of Viñátigo, and is focusing on crafting wines from exceptional micro-vineyards in the north-face of Tenerife. Before settling down in his home-island, Jorge worked alongside great international winemakers in Chile, Argentina and Burgundy.

The Lomo de la Era vineyard is situated in the Paraje de la Cruz Santa, located on the west side of La Orotava valley. The vines are trained in the traditional cordon trenzado system, and can extend up to five meters long. At an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, the site benefits from the direct influence of the trade winds that arrive from the North Atlantic.

Five hundred thousand years ago, the collapse of the Cañadas Edifice caused a gravitational landslide that created La Orotava valley. The west side of the valley is well known for producing great white wines, due to presence of stonier soils than those in the central and eastern parts of the valley.

Pre-fermentative oxidation. Not controlled-temperature fermentation. Fermented and aged for nine months in amphora. No racking. 

Lomo de la Era is very dry and textured with dusty salinity, vibrant fruits, with a honeyed character, and a little aromatic blast of its volcanic origins.

An island within an island, Paraje La Peña is situated in the highlands of Icod de los Vinos, nestled in a narrow ravine formed by the volcanic eruptions of Mount Teide to the north over the last two thousand years. For over thirty years, we have cultivated this isolated vineyard, protected from the rest of the island by a dense, green pine forest.

The vines, trained in parrales, cling to the volcanic walls of the ravine. This training method, a direct influence of the Portuguese settlers who established themselves in the northeastern part of Tenerife in the 16th century, serves as a testament to the region's rich cultural heritage.

At about 450 meters above sea level and with direct exposure to the trade winds, this wine offers surprising freshness and acidity.

Pre-fermentative oxidation. Not controlled-temperature fermentation. Fermented and aged in amphora. All the whites age statically. Barely any racking at all.

Yellow fruit, plums and peach, and a gentle and polished palate with soft acidity and a bitter twist in the finish. This wine has tonnes of tahini, almond paste, smoked sea salt and pine. Tight on the nose explosive on palate with a slight burgundy feeling.
