Château Haut Grelot is located near the Gironde Estuaire, north of the town of Bordeaux. Haut Grelot has been making wine and taking great care of their vineyards since its establishment in 1920!

This Vin de France is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, sourced from a 2-hectare vineyard with sandy, silty, and clay-rich soils. Yields are kept to 50 hl/ha, with grapes mechanically harvested and sorted. Vinification is followed by 6 months of aging in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness and varietal character. The wine shows a vibrant dark pink hue and a very bright appearance. Its intense nose reveals aromas of strawberry and floral notes, while the palate is round and fruity with lovely richness, leading to a generous, persistent finish.

Perfect to serve young and fresh as an aperitif, with a summer salad, pizzas, or grilled meat.

Planted in 1927 near Clos Vougeot and bordering Les Echezeaux, this 31-acre plot thrives on east-southeast facing clay-limestone soil and is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming. Offering rousing aromas of black cherry liqueur, steeped tea and sandalwood on the nose. The wine's sleek tannins and refined acidity add sophistication to the lush fruit flavours, culminating in a serious, chewy finish.

Domaine de Pellehaut, located in the hills of Gascony, is known for sustainable winemaking practices and utilizing native yeasts, with wines often aged in stainless steel to maintain fresh fruit character.

In 2010, brother & sister duo Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos following an invitation from a local Douro family who had been inspired by the ambition and creativity of the sibling winemakers. While both contribute to the winery, the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s personal passion from the start. She even relocated with her children to the Porto area to be closer to the vineyards, allowing her to focus her renowned energy on growing her Douro career and nurturing Maçanita’s rising profile.

Os Canivéis Tinto hails from a collection of parcels in Carlão, Cima Corgo, with vineyards aged 80–92 years at 510 meters. Crafted from a blend of 11 traditional grape varieties, it reveals aromas of fresh fruit and dark chocolate. The palate is creamy on entry, framed by firm, enduring tannins and an elegant structure. With very limited production, Os Canivéis stands as a true Douro gem, showcasing the region’s artisanal winemaking traditions and meticulous attention to detail.

Cordero San Giorgio is a new beginning in Oltrépo-Pavese for three siblings who grew up surrounded by their family’s vines at the legendary Vietti Estate in Castiglione Falletto in Barolo. The siblings Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina Cordero, are grandchildren of Luciana Vietti & Alfredo Currado, one of the pioneers of the first Barolo crus and considered the “father of Arneis.” Their father is Mario Cordero, Alfredo and Luciana’s son-in-law, who was the company’s co-owner from the beginning of the ‘80s until 2016 when it was sold.

The Oltrepò Pavese is a hilly triangle of land in Lombardy, embraced by Piedmont, Liguria, and Emilia-Romagna. A territory dedicated to the cultivation of vines and the culture of wine for centuries: a land of both cultural and gastronomic encounter and exchange. Cordero San Giorgio is in the town of Santa Giuletta, and focuses on working with Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay.

Château Plaisance, an 18th-century country manor once owned by the renowned Bordeaux restaurateur Dubern, is set on a steep, sun-drenched hill in the heart of Bordeaux. Its 23-hectare vineyard, planted with 80% Merlot on clay soils and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon on sandy gravel, benefits from exceptional sunshine and warm temperatures, ensuring full grape ripening. Under the stewardship of Philippe Magrez, a fourth-generation winegrower, modern winemaking techniques are seamlessly combined with the finest Bordeaux traditions. The estate’s carefully crafted wines capture the character of the terroir, reflecting a deep respect for heritage and a passion for excellence in every bottle.

Opening with a red cherry–scented nose, leading into a lively, refreshing palate that remains light and fresh despite the ripeness of the fruit. Fabio Motta, originally from Lombardia, began his adventure as a winemaker in Bolgheri in 2010 when he was thirty years old. However, he first came to the area 10 years earlier when he ventured into the vineyards to take part in the grape harvest as a student of agronomy.
It was love at first sight in more ways than one; he fell in love with the territory and met his future wife, Benedetta Satta, daughter of Michele Satta, a vintner who has been part of Bolgheri’s history and progress over the years.

This Bolgheri blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 12 months in cement. Fabio Motta describes it as the wine that launched his winemaking journey, expressing everything he loves about Bolgheri: clear, juicy fruit, harmony, and effortless drinkability. Merlot brings softness and volume, Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure, while the Sangiovese contributes freshness and complexity. Lighter and fresher than expected for the region, it shows silky tannins and aromas of cooked cherry, blackberry jam, mint, and rosemary.

Pair with typical Italian fare - Le Pievi shines next to pizza, light meats and pasta.

As at many family domaines with deep roots in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, vigneron Alexandre Favier was by his own account “raised in the vineyards”: Alexandre’s grandfather, Noël Sabon, is from one of the best known winemaking families in the region. Alexandre himself began his viticultural studies in Orange at the age of fifteen and passed the exams four years later in 2001. A year later (at age twenty!) he took over winemaking duties at the domaine when his father experienced health problems. Today, Domaine Chante Cigale is one of the most important family estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

A blend coming from 30 different vineyards planted with 50 years old vines of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. The juice ferments spontaneously and ages for 18 months in stainless steel (80%) and oak. This wine is deep ruby in colour with a wonderful nose of spice and dark fruits this is a real winter warmer. The palate is rich and ripe with layers of fruit and spice supported by fine tannins.

You can pair this wine with braised lamb shoulder with fennel and orange, or with herb-rubbed steaks with olives Provençale.

The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese.

Created to honour Nicolas Potel's mother, Françoise, the grapes for this wine are sourced across 5 Premier Cru sites. Ample aromas of steeped hibiscus tea, kirsch, and cedar wood spice lead to broad, well-structured flavours. The mid-palate shows fine density, supported by sleek, well-defined tannins with building grip. The finish is robust and balanced, with a touch of austerity, suggesting excellent aging potential.

This is a fresh, balanced rendition of a classic Douro red. Preserving the intrinsic bent toward the richness and power of the Douro, all while showcasing balance, minerality and elegance. Some of the vines tended at an altitude of 200m to 540 m altitude in schist soils, and others at 600m altitude in granitic soils elevation, both in Cima Corgo, Douro. This is a subregion that experiences extreme highs and lows from a temperature standpoint, with some of the greatest day-night temperature delta in Portugal. As such the fruit experiences extended hangtime.

Deep violet. On the nose, redolent of black and blue fruit tinged with violets and wet stone. On the palate, rich but balanced, with fresh acidity coupling the dark blueberry and plum fruit. Finishes long and spicy, with a big dose of flowers and minerals.

Located in Traiguén in Chile’s southern Araucanía region, some 600 km south of Santiago, Baettig’s Viñedos Los Suizos site sits in a cool-climate zone shaped by volcanic soils, native forests, and abundant rainfall. With mild summers, cool, wet winters, and limited sunlight, conditions here allow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to ripen slowly and evenly. The vineyards are rooted in ancient volcanic soils rich in clay, loam, and deep stony layers, which promote balanced vine growth, excellent drainage, and a distinctive mineral character in the wines.

The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels that make up this Pinot. Sourced exclusively from a selection of the El
Primo, Chuir, and La Cuñada parcels, the blend results in elegant yet tightly structured wines with long aging potential.

The nose is ripe and complex, declaring aromas of fresh bing cherries, rosehip and wild strawberries up front. Softer floral aromas of violet and lavender unfurl underneath the fruits giving way to notes of dried orange peel and damp forest floor. The palate it is tense, with extremely fine tannins and juicy acidity supporting bright notes of pomegranate, graphite-minerality and chalk. The tight finish and great structure make this one for the cellar.

McArthur Ridge is a Central Otago winery located in Alexandra, New Zealand, where vineyards are planted on ancient glacial moraine terraces known as Brassknocker soils. The estate is recognized for producing cool-climate Pinot Noir that reflects the rugged mountain environment, combining careful vineyard management with a winemaking philosophy focused on purity, balance, and regional expression. Robust & Savoury

Villa Calcinaia is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, near the village of Greve-in-Chianti. This Tuscan estate has been home to the Capponi family since 1524. It is now in the hands of 37th-generation Conte Sebastiano Capponi, who has managed the estate since 1992.

Produced from the best blocks of old vines with the sunniest exposition in the estate, near Greve in Chianti. The perfectly ripened, healthy grapes from each block are long fermented and then aged separately for 20 months in French oak 500 litres tonneaux and Slavonian oak 30 hl casks. After the cuvée is made the wine ages for another 4-6 months before its bottling.

The colour of the Riserva is rich ruby, yet the bouquet is mature in its fruit and judicious with its well integrated oak nuances. The taste is soft and velvety on the palate, showing fine structure in harmonious balance with the ripe fruits and uplifting acidity. The after taste is tireless and spicy. 

This is a bottle for important occasions, served alongside rich meat dishes but it will also bring much added enjoyment during conversations with fellow revellers!

The Letra F vineyard plots showcase a diverse array of grape varieties, planted at high altitudes on soils transitioning from schist to granite. While the Douro Valley is renowned for famous sites such as the Letra A vines used for Port production, Letra F has historically received less attention due to grapes with lighter concentration and structure. Yet, hidden treasures exist within these plots—vines planted long ago that reveal the diversity of terroirs and the untapped potential of the Douro region.

Made with more than 20 red & white varieties mixed, the nose unfolds with red berry fruits accented by floral shades of peonies and subtle mineral tones. Calcinaia's Chianti Classico is very aromatic and savoury, with bright red fruit and hints of roses, violets and dried leaves. On the palate it is supple and dry, with round fruit flavours, refreshing acidity and well integrated tannins. 

Chianti wines pair excellently with fatty dishes and stands up to tomato sauce dishes, such as pizza and pasta! It also pairs terrifically with rich pieces of meat: from cured meat boards to the regional classic bistecca alla Fiorentina.

2 bottles x Ca' del Monte Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC 2018 (Veneto, Italy)

Ca del Monte is situated on the hillsides overlooking the village of Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella. This Ripasso shows a pure red-berry and black-cherry bouquet with notes of grilled herbs, iris, violet and almond. With a great depth of flavour, the wine is silky and warm with a surprisingly elegant mid-weight mouth feel that finishes with plump fruit and a well integrated spicy/oak kiss. 

Pair this rich wine with game meats, roast chicken, wood oven pizza and pasta with full flavoured sauces. It is also amazing when served with aged cheeses.

The vineyards of the estate are spread over 31 hectares, and are all located in Costigliole d'Asti. The clusters of Barbera were hand-harvested and unveil a rather aromatic wine with a crunchy fruitiness. The wine evokes blackberry and cherry on a delicately floral background. Balanced and delectable, there is even a subtle note of minerality.

A wine that will pair perfectly with white and red grilled meats, salami and young cheeses.

In collaboration with consulting enologist Hans Vinding-Diers, Bodega Malma has carefully crafted its portfolio while exploring the potential of each micro-terroir for different grape varieties. Guided by a philosophy of sharing Patagonia with the world, the winery brings the region’s unique character to life in every bottle. 

Named in honour of the family's first generation who sought their prosperity in Patagonia, the Chacra La Papay collection showcases Bodega Malma’s commitment to producing wines of substance without compromising approachability.

This fruit-forward style of Malbec shows bright aromas of raspberries, crunchy plums and cherries on the nose. The palate echoes the bright red fruit, revealing delicate violet florals and hints of vanilla spice from gentle oak ageing. Fresh and well-balanced, it combines structure with an easy-drinking style and plenty of character.

Rich & Spicy

CW Wines’ Schoolhouse wines come from a Coonawarra vineyard with a little history — the site was once home to a schoolhouse established in 1888, and each year the winery releases a special bottle in its honour. Today, the Schoolhouse Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the estate’s signature wines, showcasing the depth and character of Coonawarra.

This is classic Coonawarra Cabernet with a modern, polished feel. Ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins, and subtle oak come together in a way that’s generous without feeling heavy, with plenty of structure and balance.

Blackcurrant and black plum lead the way, followed by warming spice and cooling dried herbs. Rich and concentrated on the palate, with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins, and a touch of toasty oak, it’s powerful but beautifully in check.

Pour it with roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, grilled meats, or a board of aged cheeses.

Fresh & Floral

In 2010, Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos after an invitation from a local Douro family who had read about these playful and ambitious sibling winemakers. Both siblings contribute to Maçanita Vinhos, but the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s passion project since the start, and Joana and her children even moved to the Porto area to be closer to the winery and vineyards. Setting down roots in the region has allowed her to focus her famous energy into expanding the rising star that is her Douro career.

The Cima Corgo sub-region, which is characterized by a cooler, less continental climate than the Douro Superior, gave rise to this Touriga, which shows a more floral, fresher and purer side. Aged for 16 months in neutral French oak barrels. Intense ruby-violet in color. On the palate, it is very fresh, with a strong fruit expression and a different level of ripeness.

Pairs beautifully with white and red meat dishes, both in traditional and modern cuisine.
