The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese. 

Abundant in character, the Cortonesi Brunello di Montalcino La Mannella Riserva beautifully reflects the warm, sunny, and luminous 2019 growing season. Layers of dark plum, black cherry, and cassis are complemented by notes of sweet spice, tobacco, and balsamic herbs. Rich and generous yet remarkably focused, the palate balances concentration with freshness and precision. Firm, youthful tannins provide excellent structure and promise outstanding aging potential.

The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the domaine's vineyards extend all over the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

Thanks to its multiple exposures to the sun, Grand Cru Valmur develops more specifically fruity and round aromas and is less marked by the calcareous and clay subsoil. In the mouth, this wine displays a robust and powerful character, feeling less steely than its neighbour, Grand Cru Les Clos. Expect soft notes of acacia and orange blossoms with nectarine and yellow pear notes to unfold on the palate with shades of salt-tinged sweet spices lasting long into the well-defined finish.

Located at the southern end of the Barossa Valley, Lou Miranda Estate is a family-run boutique winery rooted in Italian heritage and hospitality. Founded by Lou Miranda and now led by his daughters Lisa, Angela, and Victoria, the estate carries forward a legacy that began with their grandfather who immigrated to Australia from southern Italy in the late 30's with a passion for good wine and family. Today, the Mirandas produce all their wines from 100 acres of estate-owned vineyards spread across four sites within eight kilometres of the winery — including four treasured centenarian vine blocks, the oldest planted in 1897. From vineyard to bottle, their philosophy remains simple: great food and wine are meant to be shared.

Named in honour of the vineyard's golden autumn vines as they prepare for a new season of growth, the Gold Lion collection celebrates both the family's enduring winemaking heritage and the natural cycle that shapes each vintage.

Aromas of ripe dark berries, plum, and warm spice are complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and toasted oak. In 2010, brother & sister duo Joana and António founded Maçanita Vinhos following an invitation from a local Douro family who had been inspired by the ambition and creativity of the sibling winemakers. While both contribute to the winery, the challenging Douro Valley has been Joana’s personal passion from the start. She even relocated with her children to the Porto area to be closer to the vineyards, allowing her to focus her renowned energy on growing her Douro career and nurturing Maçanita’s rising profile.

The Letra F vineyard plots showcase a diverse array of grape varieties, planted at high altitudes on soils transitioning from schist to granite. While the Douro Valley is renowned for famous sites such as the Letra A vines used for Port production, Letra F has historically received less attention due to grapes with lighter concentration and structure. Yet, hidden treasures exist within these plots—vines planted long ago that reveal the diversity of terroirs and the untapped potential of the Douro region.

Made with more than 20 red & white varieties mixed, the nose unfolds with red berry fruits accented by floral shades of peonies and subtle mineral tones. On the palate, it's fresh and lively, supported by striking acidity and concentrated aromatics. Founded in 2004 and run by the Viola family, the winery is fuelled by a deep passion for Patagonia and its distinctive terroirs. In collaboration with consulting enologist Hans Vinding-Diers, Bodega Malma has carefully crafted its portfolio while exploring the potential of each micro-terroir for different grape varieties. CW Wines’ Schoolhouse wines come from a Coonawarra vineyard with a little history — the site was once home to a schoolhouse established in 1888, and each year the winery releases a special bottle in its honour. Today, the Schoolhouse Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the estate’s signature wines, showcasing the depth and character of Coonawarra.

This is classic Coonawarra Cabernet with a modern, polished feel. Ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins, and subtle oak come together in a way that’s generous without feeling heavy, with plenty of structure and balance.

Blackcurrant and black plum lead the way, followed by warming spice and cooling dried herbs. Rich and concentrated on the palate, with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins, and a touch of toasty oak, it’s powerful but beautifully in check.

Mineral & Spicy

Robert, whose family is originally from Hungary, was born in Canada and grew up on a farm. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's country to start a winery.

Furmint is the historic grape of the region and this example shows its true strength. Alongside the lemon and lime rind nose, the palate is led by a lean minerality and exciting flavours that come from the various organically farmed vineyards across Szent György-hegy. The grapes are gently pressed, spontaneously fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. It has a complex character and long aging potential. 

Furmint complements herb-crusted poultry or fish. You can also try it with delicate Asian dishes like sushi or dumplings.

The Piazzo winery’s story began in the 1960s in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, Alba, when newlyweds Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia, from farming families, invested in the Langhe, a region not yet recognized for its premium wines. Despite post-war challenges, they saw the area’s potential and focused on Nebbiolo, a varietal now renowned globally. Their first wine, made from Nebbiolo, was released in 1979, and by 1982 it was labeled as Barbaresco. In 1985, with the involvement of their daughter Marina and her husband Franco, the family launched their first Barolo, solidifying the winery’s reputation. Continuing under Marina & family's management, their philosophy blends tradition with innovation, producing wines that authentically reflect the Langhe and Roero regions.

Barbaresco Pajorè is the latest addition to the Estate's collection and is a true expression of a renowned cru in Treiso, one of the four villages in the Barbaresco DOCG region. Named after the farmhouse at the center of the vineyard, “Pajorè” is derived from the local dialect term for its former owner, Peirolero. The lime and clay-rich soils, though low in nutrients, produce small yields that result in fruit packed with complex aromas. This Barbaresco is intense and aromatic with floral hints of roses, subtle spice, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it opens fruity, followed by a dry, tannic structure with a long, rewarding finish.

Raised amidst the vineyards, Alexandre Favier is part of a long line of winemakers in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. His grandfather, Noël Sabon, hails from one of the region’s most renowned winemaking families. Alexandre began his viticultural studies at the age of fifteen in Orange, completing his exams by 2001. Just a year later, at the age of twenty, he assumed full winemaking responsibilities at Domaine Chante Cigale when his father’s health declined. Today, Domaine Chante Cigale stands as one of the most important family estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Extrait consists of 50% Roussanne and 50% Grenache Blanc. The Roussanne for Extrait comes from a very specific plot and the vines are over 40 years old. For a wine this unctuous and textured, the palate shows remarkable balance and freshness. Aromas of apricot, peach and citrus are complemented by some perfumed florals and well integrated, savoury oak. The finish is incredibly long and fresh.

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara. 

This Riesling shows why we get so excited about Riesling from Lincoln Lakeshore! The nose explodes with beautiful apricot-pith, peach-cobbler, lime-leaf, cardamom, and honey aromas. Those flavours continue on the palate while adding lemon-rind, honeycomb, elderflower and the distinctive stony minerality. This is a classically mid-weight Riesling but has lovely full texture, coming both from the vineyards and the lees aging. As the wine sweeps across the palate towards the finish, the balance of sweet and salty is sublime, with a bright green leafiness and flinty/minerally sensation appearing in waves, leading to an amazing, crunchy finish. The wine will age well for the next decade.

Named after the Piedmontese dialect term Punset, meaning “beautiful hill” or “point,” this historic estate in Neive was once noted by the Counts of Castelborgo for rising above the region’s autumn mists. Family-owned for generations, the winery officially began bottling commercially in 1964 under Renzo Marcarino, before Marina Marcarino led its transformative shift to certified organic farming in the early 1980s. Today, guided by biodynamic principles and a deep respect for natural balance, the estate is known for its minimally interventionist approach, grass-covered vineyards, and thriving biodiversity that work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Produced from a 1-hectare parcel in the San Cristoforo cru, Punset’s Campo Quadro Riserva sits alongside the estate’s Basarin Riserva, though the two are vinified in distinct styles.

In the glass, it shows an elegant, structured profile with an intense colour and a complex aromatic range that unfolds from ripe fruit to more delicate floral tones, layered with spice, chocolate and subtle buttery notes. The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide.

Sourced from the single-vineyard Liebich site, perched high in the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat, this wine captures both the richness and vitality of its elevated origin. Bodega Bideona represents a new generation of Rioja wines, defined by the precise origin of their grapes rather than winemaking techniques. Its 282 small vineyard plots, averaging 0.3 hectares and over 50 years old, include vines planted between 1920 and 1960, reflecting a unique cultural and biological heritage. The Bideona Village-Wine range highlights the distinct character of Rioja Alavesa’s wine-growing villages, a nuance often lost during the industrialization of Rioja, when blending and technique overshadowed origin. These wines restore the importance of village identity, allowing each bottle to express the place it comes from.

Leza, a small village at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains, is home to vineyards planted in the first half of the 20th century. Situated at 580–610 meters above sea level, these vines offer a rare varietal and clonal complexity. The wine is structured and slow-ripening, shaped by the influence of altitude and the mountains. Cuvée Heritage is the third vintage of our flagship red blend, but the first called Heritage – in homage to Ilya & Nadia’s Ukrainian heritage, and with an intention of building a heritage of tremendous red blends at Leaning Post.

The depth of this wine was structured by the warm, but not hot summer and autumn. Leaning Post believes this is the best Gamay they have made to date! The terroir of Oppenlander Vineyard really shines through, with loads of garrigue, spice and leather, with intense blackberry, cherry and pepper on the nose. The mouth is complimentary showing mulberry, pomegranate, lilac, smoked sausage and fennel seed. The finish is fantastically long and smooth. 

Try with brie, camembert, your favourite burger, or anything on your plate during a cozy night.

Creamy & Mineral

The “Geekiness” continues to rise in this wine. An experiment in lees aging, this Riesling ages 22 months on all the lees collected from all the white wine fermentations since vintage 2014.   Reductive notes of flint and mineral frame all the beautiful stone fruit and classic Riesling notes.   It has a wonderfully rich and creamy texture balanced by a distinct freshness. It is practically immortal and should age beautifully for the next decade and well beyond.
