4 bottles x Fattoria di Sammontana Alberese IGT Toscana 2024 (Tuscany, Italy)
Red | Sangiovese, Trebbiano
This wine is a nod to the old tradition that made Trebbiano a compulsory component of any Chianti blend. Almost entirely Sangiovese with just a touch of Trebbiano, Alberese is such a delicious, simple and easy drinking wine that it could go with just about anything.
We particularly love opening a bottle of Alberese when cooking pizza or when having an aperitivo before dinner: a beautiful choice with cured meats, cheeses and olives. Any rich pasta dish made with bacon and tons of pecorino would also be a delicious option!
4 bottles x Bideona Mayela Rioja Alavesa 2024 (Rioja, Spain)
Red | Tempranillo
Bideona produces this wine from beautiful vineyards on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, without using any methods that would obscure its personality. The wine is fresh and approachable, but also shows the depth and purity typical from Rioja Alavesa. It is a single wine but carries a series of six sequential labels featuring illustrations of the real growers, as a tribute to their daily work. Mayela aims to contribute to the preservation of traditional viticulture and to the sustainability of the historic vineyards.
Pair this wine with grilled lamb chops, roasted vegetables, and aged Manchego cheese.
4 bottles x Domaine Peter Sichel Montanha 2024 (Languedoc-Roussillon, France)
Red | Grenache
Montanha is made from Grenache . The vines are cultivated between 300 and 400 meters above sea level on clay-limestone mountain slopes. After a short infusion of 2.5 days, the must is pressed and the wine finishes its fermentation in concrete vats .
Montanha, meaning "Mountain" in Occitan, is a refreshing infusion crafted from fresh mountain fruits. The wine presents a clear ruby hue, accompanied by a clean and expressive nose featuring notes of red fruits and wild strawberries. Its profile reveals a fine and elegant structure, making it a delightful experience for the senses.
