Château Corton Frey stands as one of Burgundy’s most iconic estates, encompassing seven hectares across thirteen prestigious appellations, where centuries of tradition have honed the expression of terroir. Under the stewardship of highly regarded oenologist and winegrower Caroline Frey, the estate marries Burgundian heritage with a sustainable, precision-driven approach, crafting intentionally limited wines that embody the purity, elegance, and distinctive character of their origins.
Ahead of the special LCBO release on April 26th at 8:30 am, we are thrilled to offer a pre-order of select wines from the Estate’s portfolio. Each wine embodies the harmonious interplay of animal, vegetable, and mineral elements that define its uniquely coveted terroir. Guided by a small, dedicated team, every bottle is crafted with care to express depth, character, and soul. After all, great wine isn’t made — it is given the means to reveal itself.

This Savigny-les-Beaune has more delicacy than a lot of wines from what is often considered a blockbuster vintage for red Burgundy. It’s brimming with sour cherries and just beginning to pick up some of the earthy notes of early maturity. Beautiful balance for a non-1er Cru wine from Savigny. A nicely rounded, medium-bodied palate with an almost soft finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

A very aromatic wine for this commune, with flinty energy accenting the sour cherry and red rose aromas. Still quite firm at the front of the medium-bodied palate, but the compact chalky minerality gives this impressive depth in the focused finish. Excellent aging potential. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Delicate fruit flavours on the nose. Notes of ripe apple, pineapple and citrus fruit. Over time, hints of honey, undergrowth and fresh mushrooms join in. A hint of roasted nuts. Delicate and balanced on the palate. Fine, clear fruit, citrus and green apple, long, salty finish.
