The Cortonesi family has been a cornerstone of the Montalcino region for decades. Established in the 1970s, their estate spans 138 acres in one of the area's most storied regions, with 19 acres dedicated to producing world-class Brunello. The family began commercially selling their wine in 1985, and today, third-generation winemaker Tommaso Cortonesi continues the tradition. Tommaso combines his long-standing family traditions with modern technologies to craft some of the finest expressions of Tuscan Sangiovese.

This is a beautifully expressive Brunello from an outstanding vintage, now confidently hitting its stride. The nose is vibrant and layered, with classic aromas of spiced licorice and red cherry, complemented by subtle notes of fresh rosemary, cedar, and dried flowers. On the palate, it offers full weight and a smooth, seamless texture, with fine-grained tannins woven through a warm, elegant core of dried fruit. Rich and juicy, it showcases the signature succulence and length of Montalcino, with the structure and finesse to continue evolving gracefully for years to come.

Pair Brunello with bold, flavourful dishes such as oxtail, a nicely cooked steak, rich stews, or game served with mushroom-based sauces.

Bodega Bideona represents a new generation of Rioja wines, defined by the precise origin of their grapes rather than winemaking techniques. Its 282 small vineyard plots, averaging 0.3 hectares and over 50 years old, include vines planted between 1920 and 1960, reflecting a unique cultural and biological heritage. The Bideona Village-Wine range highlights the distinct character of Rioja Alavesa’s wine-growing villages, a nuance often lost during the industrialization of Rioja, when blending and technique overshadowed origin. These wines restore the importance of village identity, allowing each bottle to express the place it comes from.

Leza, a small village at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains, is home to vineyards planted in the first half of the 20th century. Situated at 580–610 meters above sea level, these vines offer a rare varietal and clonal complexity. The wine is structured and slow-ripening, shaped by the influence of altitude and the mountains. It reveals dark fruit flavours with an exotic, almost apothecary-like undertone, combining muscular structure with exceptional freshness and balance.

Château de La Chaize is among the oldest, most historic estates in Burgundy’s Beaujolais region. Cared for by the same family for nearly three and a half centuries, the estate has been passed on to new owners, the Gruy family, who are equally committed to managing the estate with the utmost care, while implementing an ambitious environmental plan.

An emblematic terroir of Brouilly, this cadastral lieu-dit is located in the northern extension of the lieu-dit La Chaize. Facing southeast with steep slopes, it has a granite soil typical of the region and offers ideal ripening conditions for Gamay Noir.

Dark ruby with violet highlights, this wine opens with juicy notes of Burlat and Morello cherries, stone fruit, and a hint of ground pepper, layered over subtle graphite minerality and a gentle patina from aging. Powdery tannins support a lush mid-palate, where fruit and minerality merge seamlessly, leading to a long, elegant finish that balances richness with refinement.

From the outset, the vision behind Terre à Terre and DAOSA has been to grow grapes of exceptional quality from carefully selected vineyard sites and to vinify them using the best of both French and Australian winemaking traditions. Founded in 2008 by Xavier and Lucy, whose roots lie in Champagne and the Adelaide Hills respectively, the estates are built on rigour, precision, and a commitment to crafting world-class fine wines with elegance, power, and strong ageing potential. Independent of passing trends, their focus remains on creating enduring Great Australian Classics.

Located at the top of a north-south limestone ridge in Wrattonbully, the Crayères vineyard was named in homage to the chalk cellars that define Xavier’s native Champagne. Beneath this remarkable site lie similar natural formations, now the focus of a research project led by the University of Adelaide, where undisturbed, ancient fossilized remains have been discovered.

A classic Cabernet–Shiraz assemblage, produced each year from the best parcels of grown on the estate. Offering an unmistakably Australian expression, with lifted black and red fruit and subtle floral aromatics. The palate is seamless and well-balanced, framed by velvety tannins and a refined, textured finish.

This will be a perfect sip alongside roasted beef fillet with traditional gratin dauphinois.

Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. The twenty seven hectares of vines bordering the Ruamahunga River are growing on stony, free draining, alluvial soils, with a micro climate giving warm daily temperatures, cool nights and low rainfall; perfect conditions for producing distinctive, quality wines

This Pinot highlights purity and freshness, offering bright aromas of red florals, spice, and juicy red fruit. Medium-bodied, the palate shows a vibrant mix of tart and sweet cherry framed by soft, velvety tannins. Subtle oak lends a gentle touch of chocolate to the finish, while a hint of spice adds lift and energy to the lingering aftertaste.

A perfect pairing for grilled quail, roasted chicken or the richness of pork shoulder. This wine can also stand up to glazed salmon or a decadent pizza with sweet potato, balsamic onions and soppressata.
