Nestled at the foot of the Corton hillside in Aloxe-Corton, Château Corton Caroline is one of Burgundy’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the late 19th century atop 15th-century cellars, this listed monument is the region’s most photographed site after the Hospices de Beaune. Legend has it that Emperor Charlemagne once owned vineyards here in the 8th century and planted Chardonnay to keep his white beard unstained.

The estate’s seven hectares span thirteen prestigious appellations—including Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard—each part of Burgundy’s mosaic of climats, where the expression of terroir has been refined for centuries.

Under the ownership of Caroline Frey, renowned oenologist and winegrower, Château Corton Caroline unites Burgundian tradition with a sustainable, precision-driven approach. With intentionally limited production, each wine is crafted to capture the purity and character of its origin.

This Corton Grand Cru Monopole captures the essence of Aloxe-Corton, produced within the historic walls of Château de Corton where Burgundy’s excellence reaches its finest expression. The nose reveals a refined mix of red fruit and subtle floral notes, while the palate offers a harmonious balance of richness and finesse. Elegant tannins, a touch of oak, and impressive length highlight its depth and hint at it's promising longevity.

Aging potential: 10 to 20 years.

Garage Wine Co was quite literally started in a garage in 2001, by Etobicoke expat Derek Mossman and his wife Pilar Miranda. Since then, the dynamic duo have chosen to revive old vineyards in marginalized Chilean communities. They work mostly in the regions of Maule and Itata where they make highly coveted wines

The 2019 vintage marks the 106th bottling of wines cultivated from old vines grown in the rural fields of Caliboro. Initial aromas are layered with ripe plum, dark berries and delicate spices, grounded by an earthy, organic undertone The palate is sinewy yet balanced, with lively acidity and seamlessly woven tannins. Ripe fruit flavours and softer floral tones are cradled by the deftly applied oak, ending in a lingering finish that is both savoury and rich.

Located at the southern end of the Barossa Valley, Lou Miranda Estate is a family-run boutique winery rooted in Italian heritage and hospitality. Founded by Lou Miranda and now led by his daughters Lisa, Angela, and Victoria, the estate carries forward a legacy that began with their grandfather, Francesco “Pop” Miranda, who immigrated to Australia from southern Italy in 1938 with a passion for good wine and family. Today, the Mirandas produce all their wines from 100 acres of estate-owned vineyards spread across four sites within eight kilometres of the winery — including four treasured centenarian vine blocks, the oldest planted in 1897. From vineyard to bottle, their philosophy remains simple: great food and wine are meant to be shared.

The Centenarian Old Vine Shiraz is crafted from the Church Block vineyard, planted in 1907. Dry-grown and hand-tended, the fruit reflects the depth and character of its century-old vines. Maturation in American oak lends further complexity, resulting in a richly structured wine with a layered bouquet, refined tannins, and impressive length. Elegant and age-worthy, it is exceptional enjoyed now or after 10–15 years of careful cellaring.

This plush style is a must with grilled meats & barbecue smothered in smoky, sticky sauces.

Historical records show that the Martín Berdugo family’s south-facing estate on the banks of the River Duero has been dedicated to grape cultivation for more than 200 years. The modern chapter began in the late 1980s, when Josefina Martín Berdugo, together with her husband Enrique and their three children—Antonio, Bruno, and Pepa—began new plantings that would define the estate. In its early years, the fruit was sold to other wineries, but as the vines matured, their quality revealed remarkable potential. To capture this, a modern winery was built among the vineyards in 2000. Today, under the leadership of Antonio, Martín Berdugo crafts wines that embody the character and individuality of Ribera del Duero’s emblematic Tinto Fino grape.

This wine opens with inviting aromas of warm, fresh red fruit layered alongside subtle black-fruit nuances, accented by hints of lightly spiced toffee and gentle toasted notes from oak ageing. On the palate, it's intense and well-structured, offering a full mouth-feel supported by polished tannins and well-handled acidity. The ripe red fruit character and roasted undertones carry through seamlessly, leading to a clean, persistent finish. Already drinking beautifully, this is already showing excellent potential to continue evolving gracefully for several years if cellared.

Pairs nicely with flavourful rice dishes like paella, hearty pastas such as lasagna, and grilled, roasted, or fried chicken. It also complements aged cheeses exceptionally well.

Founded in 2008 by Kiwi friends Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron, Invivo has grown into one of New Zealand's leading wine producers. Over the past decade, the collaboration has expanded to include seven wines and four spirits, selling over 18 million bottles globally. With more than 250 awards, it's no surprise that Invivo has become such a worldwide success.

Welcome to the intimate world of Quevedo, a small, family-owned winery where quality is a treasured tradition. The Quevedo family's viticultural heritage spans over five generations, beginning with Abel Gouveia Costa, who planted the first vines in 1889. Through the years, the family diligently expanded their vineyards, culminating in the 1970s when Oscar and Beatriz Quevedo modernized their facilities and established the Quevedo winery in 1993. Today, Quevedo oversees 100 hectares of vineyards and 25 hectares of organic olive groves, with current proprietors Cláudia and Oscar Quevedo Jr. continuing the legacy of crafting exceptional wines.

The nose is immediately inviting, offering exotic aromas of pineapple, ripe apple, and spring honey, lifted by a delicate floral nuance. On the palate, it strikes a beautifully fresh yet generous profile, perfectly balanced between richness and vibrancy. Layers of orange zest, honey, and lychee unfold with impressive complexity, leading to a long, elegant finish defined by pure, lingering honey and a subtle hint of white pepper.

Try with melon & ham, salty appetizers, or fruit salad.
