Domaine Tour Saint Michel, a family estate, was established in 1930. Michel Fabre, the estate's founder, acquired the first vines. His son, Henri Fabre, then took over the reins. With the help of his wife, Eliane, he developed and expanded the estate. Today, 55 hectares are under vine, including 30 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Since 2007, Mireille has managed the vineyard, respecting family tradition while bringing a more modern style. Her daughters, Magali and Mélanie, joined her in 2018 and 2023, respectively.
Located in the southern, sun-drenched sector of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the estate spans renowned lieux-dits such as Les Gallimardes, Crouscroute, and Le Grand Coulet, with additional northern holdings in areas like Terres Blanches and Fargueirol. Working with 7 of the appellation’s 13 permitted grape varieties—including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Roussanne—the domaine produces both red and white wines that reflect its diverse terroirs. Committed to sustainable viticulture, the estate holds HVE Level 3 certification and has been fully organic since the 2023 vintage, favouring manual harvests and soil health. In the cellar, a combination of stainless steel and concrete is used, with minimal oak influence to preserve purity of fruit, terroir, and vintage expression.
