Pearce Predhomme is a collaboration between Nicholas Pearce and Will Predhomme focusing on terroir driven wines from old vine vineyards in Stellenbosch, SA & Willamette Valley, US.

This Chenin is made from old bush vines grown in decomposed granite/quartz on the Helderburg (Clear Mountain), in the southwestern-most corner of Stellenbosch.

Behold, Chenin Blanc! The most widely planted varietal in South Africa simply shines in this charming expression from Stellenbosch. Sourced from old vines and naturally fermented, expect elegant notes of white peach, lemon, and tangerine with an underlying layer of crisp yellow apple. Bright and fresh on the palate, but with good depth and concentration, this wine is ready to drink now but will also cellar nicely for the next 2-3 years.

This Chenin Blanc pairs perfectly with all kinds of fresh seafood; and also with tartare. Smoked salmon or trout would also be delicious next to a glass of this old vines Chenin. Its rich texture makes it suitable to be paired with goat cheese, roast chicken and butternut squash.

The Loire Valley has always had a special importance for Joan Ramón, as it has been key in his journey and evolution as a winemaker. As a consequence, he is madly in love with Chenin. His love for this white grape led him to plant some vines in Conca del Barberá, which resulted in a great success thanks to the cold and humid weather of the hills in Prenafeta. The high altitude makes possible the unbelievable: a rustic, juicy and mellow skin-contact wine with hints of caramel, citrus and earthy notes.

Pair Els Bassots with creamy cheeses and white meats.

Els Bassotets is a selection of different parcels from the estate. Made from Chenin and Macabeu with no added sulfur, it’s raw and energetic with vibrant fruit. Sitting at just 12% alcohol, it's made to accompany any situation. The name means the little Bassots, the name of the parcel from which Joan Ramon’s second white comes because this is the lighter, little brother wine of Bassots. The animal on the label is a type of wild cat called Jineta in Spanish.

This natural wine is ideal with risotto and creamy pasta recipes.

Lubanzi is a socially driven South African wine company founded in 2014, inspired by a backpacking journey along the country’s remote Wild Coast. In tribute to South Africa’s rich jazz heritage, the bottle features the artwork of the acclaimed album Indaba Is—a vibrant celebration of contemporary South African jazz released in 2021 by London indie label Brownswood Recordings. Curated by pianist and songwriter Thandi Ntuli and Siyabonga Mthembu, the project brings together 52 musicians in a powerful reflection of the diversity, energy, and spirit of South African jazz.

The nose opens with lifted notes of green herbs and tea leaves before unfolding into a soft, textural palate layered with sundried peach, apricot, almond skin, and ripe satsuma.

Red | Cinsault, Syrah

This Cinsault-Syrah has a brilliant medium purple colour in the glass. On the nose, it's all about fresh ripe red & black fruit: cherry, strawberry, wild raspberry; with hints of intense spice, it also has a granite minerality. On the palate it is light-bodied, with a vibrant acid and grippy though delicate tannins. It intermingles with surprisingly powerful fruit & spice; punching above its weight in flavour.

White | Chenin Blanc

The Kloof Street range is all about freshness, balance and great drinkability. This wine has notes of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character. The wine has a fresh, mineral finish.

We recommend to pair this zesty wine with ceviche-style dishes. Pasta al pesto is another terrific pairing option!

6 bottles x Mullineux Kloof Street Rouge W.O Swartland 2023 (Swartland, South Africa)
 Red | Tinta Barroca, Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache

The Rouge is a delicious blend sourced from six sustainably farmed vineyard parcels across Swartland, with vines ranging from 7-48 years old. Bursting with juicy dark berry flavours on the nose and palate, this Swartland gem is beautifully balanced, with a hint of cozy holiday spice on the finish. Each grape in the blend brings something special: Cinsault adds a lovely perfume, Tinta Barocca brings a touch of tannin, Grenache amps up the fruitiness, and Syrah ties it all together seamlessly.

Pair this wine with grilled rosemary lamb chops, roasted eggplant, or a gourmet burger!

Zesty & Creamy

Located 50 km east from Saint-Émilion, the Barouillet family has been growing grapes for at least 8 generations in Pécharment, Monbazillac and Bergerac. Vincent Alexis, who joined his father in 2010, converted the vineyards to organic and is about to obtain the biodynamic certification. 

This charming and expressive white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Sémillon, and Chenin that were grown 100% sulphur free on clay & calcareous soils. Together, they create a well-balanced wine – a surprising union between freshness, fullness and aromas. There is a lightly oxidative note and a bready, lees-y back palate that bounces off the fruit which is at once fresh and zesty and creamy and opulent. Easy, fun and just a little bit wild.

Enjoy it by the glass and with white meats or poultry.
