Réva winery focuses on producing wines of excellence with extreme attention to the particular characteristics of each grape variety and the utmost respect for diversity. All the vineyards are cultivated organically and the estate is run by a group of young professionals who value both tradition and innovation.

This brawny red opens with aromas of menthol, underbrush and oak-driven spice. On the full-bodied and densely concentrated palate, close-grained tannins accompany fleshy black cherry, raspberry jam, cinnamon and vanilla. You'll notice the warmth of alcohol, but the chewy fruit stands up to the heat. Only 2,000 bottles made.

Enjoy this wine with tagliolini with taleggio cheese and black truffles.

About the Winery

Réva

Réva is a winery based in Monforte D’Alba, within the Langhe area, in Piedmont, west northern Italy. Its aim is to bring the most brilliant young people of the area together, entrusting them with the task of expressing themselves in the most creative and professional way possible. This is Réva’s Wave, a dynamic team that represents the new Langhe generation, in constant communication with tradition, without the fear of reinterpreting it.

Today the vineyard sites which spread over 4 villages, Monforte D’Alba, Serralunga D’Alba, Novello and Barolo are all managed directly with the entire agronomic work done manually. Strong sustainable vineyards conduction, certified organic, they believe that their biggest challenge is not inventing anything but just define and express the beauty of the land where they live.

Behind every glass of wine there is an expression, expression of terroir, varietal, the varietal is for them everything, indigenous, they speak of the land and, last but not least, passion for what they do. Simply as that.

James Suckling

95 points

Bright raspberries and red cherries on the nose, colored with notes of roses, ripe watermelon and dry soil. Medium-bodied with lightly firm tannins and lots of immediacy on the palate. This is hyper-tense and brimming with exciting, youthful energy. Super length already. Exuberant and exciting to taste now, and you might well be tempted. But this is a classy Cannubi for the cellar. Best from 2024 or 2025.
