Lantides Estate, established in 1993 by Lantides Panikos, has worked diligently to promote and revitalize Greek wines on the global stage since its inception. Through a steadfast commitment to high-quality production, they showcase the unique indigenous varietals that have thrived in Greece for centuries. Situated in Nemea, the estate benefits from a climate and soil perfectly suited for cultivating a diverse range of local varietals, alongside the production of select international varieties. Starting with only 20 acres under vine, the winery's production has steadily grown and today spans 170 acres of its own vineyards while working in collaboration with an additional 50 acres.

From the vineyards of Lantides Estate in Asprocampos & Koutsi of Nemea Peloponnese (650m), the outcome is a unique and elegant wine, fruity and complex. The aromas reveals spices such as cinnamon, cloves and pepper, while the structure of the body is medium with graceful texture, balanced acidity and very ripe elegant tannins. The finish is moderately long, full of red fruits with a hint of cherry and plum. Aged for 14 months in oak barrels.

Pair this wine with rich white cheese, grilled steak or pork tenderloin.

89 Points - David Lawrason

This is a pleasant, mid-weight, fairly smooth and ripe red from the Peloponnese peninsula of southern Greece. The nose is generous with well meshed raspberry jam, rose, subtle chocolate and spice. It is fairly plush and gentle but not too sweet or soupy. The tannins are fine. The length is very good to excellent, with a hint of minerality on the finish. Tasted July 2022
