Winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. For him, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique.

This is a  wine that delivers that ultimate 'Go-To Chardonnay' vibe. What's not to like about a softly expressed nose of ripe stone fruit and melon flavours, accompanied by marzipan and sweet spices. The palate is round and soft while still retaining that tangy acidity that adds flavours of zest and brings that freshness that makes this wine highly drinkable.

Pair with almond and lemon crusted fish with side greens or a decadent lobster risotto.

About the Winery

Invivo

Invivo's journey began when two Kiwi friends, Rob and Tim, met in a London bar, determined to revolutionize the wine industry by creating a strong brand that defies tradition. Since 2008, Invivo has become a leading producer in New Zealand, winning over 600 medals and expanding operations across several countries. Through customer focus and innovation, including being one of the Southern Hemisphere's largest crowdfunded companies, Invivo has rapidly grown. Rejecting traditional winemaking norms, Invivo brings elegance from the old world to their original range, featuring Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rosé. Their collaborations with Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker have further elevated their profile, embodying Invivo's vision of bringing people together to create greatness.

91 Points - Sam Kim

Delightfully fruited and elegantly expressed, the inviting bouquet shows ripe peach, pineapple, nougat and roasted hazelnut characters, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that's supple and creamy. It's wonderfully harmonious and lingering with silky texture and elegant oak infusion. At its best: now

From Gisborne, North Island, Invivo 2019 Chardonnay is tangy, creamy and elegant with ripe peach, tropical fruits, nutty and creamy flavours silky smooth and enticing on the palate. Nicely done and drinking beautifully now.
