Mas Codina is a 40 hectare estate in the Alt Penedès which dates back to 1681. It was only in 1985 that Antoni Codina Carbó started bottling wines and cavas from grapes obtained from the estate’s own vineyards. A passion for vines and wines has led the family to cultivate a number of unique varieties that's resulted in a beautiful range of high quality wines and sparklers.

Produced from 100% estate-grown, organically cultivated Xarel-lo, from old vine plantings (40+ years old!) Zesty and salty, with notes of crunchy orchard fruits and a touch of fennel, which grows wildly in the region.

This is a bright and crisp wine that will do well along side white and oily fish. A fantastic match for seafood dishes and especially oysters.

The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Nowadays, the domaine's vineyards extend all over the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.

Blanchot is located on the east of the Grand Cru appellation, and although the sun exposure is somewhat limited, it remains a paradoxically warm terroir. Its steep slope and sheltered location result in slow ripening conditions. Exceptionally atypical, Blanchot is a real eye-catcher: it reveals itself with a great depth, predominantly floral on the nose and with a mineral, pure and magical personality. On the palate is round and powerful, with hints of undergrowth and white flowers.

Pair this bold Chablis with braised veal and creamy mushrooms.

Enjoy this one on its own while basking in the sun.

Made from local grape Priero Picudo, this dayglo pink rosé shows depth on the nose with intense aromas of violets, strawberry jam, red Delicious apples, peaches and a touch of vanilla. It's dry, soft textured, with bold, ripe red fruit flavours balanced by some tart acidity and just noticeable tannins. A crowd-pleasing charmer for a hot summer's day, pair it with stuffed peppers or spicy pulled pork soft tacos.

Creamy & Rich

Meyer Family Vineyards have been crafting wines in the Okanagan Valley since 2006. Voted one of the top wineries in Canada, they focus on small lot productions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir drawing heavily from Burgundian influences.

This is classy chardonnay from Jak Meyer; whose wines have been turning heads for quite a few years now, especially those of the judges at the WineAlign National Wine Awards. The 2021 McLean Creek bottling from Okanagan Falls is beautifully bright and appealingly spartan, with minimal oak and lees influence in favour of bright citrus, peach and apple blossom flavours. But it's really the palate that shines with its taut acids and laser sharp delineation, not to mention the impressively lingering finish.

Top notch, and top value, classy wine. Pair this Chardonnay with any chicken dish, baked, grilled, or fried. It would also pair nicely with seafood.

Jura is that narrow valley in the remote hills between Burgundy and Switzerland, which millions of years ago was covered by an Ocean and today still bares many of the fossils from that time. If you kick a stone in a Jura vineyard, it will probably be a fossil.

Silky and full bodied, this oak-aged Chardonnay exhibits classics notes of apples, white flowers and citrus. Grown on marl-limestone soils from the Triassic period, it is a balanced wine on the palate, with a distinctive complexity.

Have fun pairing this complex Chardonnay with a raclette or with poultry.

Robert, whose family is originally from Hungary, was born in Canada and grew up on a farm. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's country to start a winery.

This Rajnai Riesling comes from a 45 years old vineyards in the outskirts of Mount Saint George in Hungary. This variety has found an excellent partner in this area, which conveys its elegant and volcanic traits perfectly. The wine is partially fermented in stainless steel tanks, which helps to maintain a vibrant acidity; and in big and neutral Hungarian barrels, which gives a special creaminess to the wine. On the nose, the oak is very well integrated into a range of aromas that goes from a very lively lemon and lime to orchard fruits notes. On the palate, it is beautifully round, with weight but with a zippy acidity and reminiscences of citrus pith.

A great pairing for spicy dishes. Strong Indian and Asian spices are a perfect match with Riesling because of its delicate sweetness and vibrant acidity.

Winemaker and proprietor Robert was born in Canada and grew up on a farm, though his family is originally from Hungary. After some years working as an architect, he found his passion in winemaking, and relocated to his grandparent's home country to start a winery.

The estate is located just a few kilometers north of Lake Balaton, near Mount Saint George. This is an ancient and little known volcanic butte in Europe’s Pannon basin. Mount Saint George is cloaked with vineyards, both old vines and more recent plantings, many of which are being cultivated organically. Robert Gilvesy's goal in the vineyard and with wine culture is to authentically preserve and express the unique character of the mountain through his wines.

This sparkling is made from Furmint grapes sourced from the organic Váradi vineyard. Aromas of white-fleshed and citrus fruit with hints of toast. Delicate on the palate with a creamy texture, fine bubbles and yeasty notes complementing the aromas. A great example on how Furmint is well-suited to make sparkling wine, especially from volcanic soil.

Furmint complements herb-crusted poultry or fish. You can also try it with delicate Asian dishes like sushi or pan-fried dumplings.

When Michel Muré settled in Rouffach and planted his vineyard in the 17th century, he surely had little conception of the beautiful adventure that he was setting in motion for his descendants. In 1935, Alfred Muré extended the property with the addition of the 12-hectare (25-acre) wholly owned Clos Saint Landelin, foreseeing already its potential for exceptional quality. He replanted the terraces, ideally situated with their sunny exposure and shelter from the rain.

Nowadays it is Alfred’s grandson René, together with his children Véronique and Thomas, the 11th and 12th generations of the family, who are responsible for running this exceptional, wholly-owned vineyard and its neighbouring terroirs, using biodynamic methods.

Located in Rouffach, the Clos Saint Landelin, fully owned by the Muré family, covers an area of 12 hectares. It marks the southern end of the Grand Cru Vorbourg. Located at the exit of the valley, it is exposed to the south and benefits from a good amount of sunshine until late in the afternoon. The north and west winds ensure that the vines remain healthy until harvest time.

Pale yellow with green highlights. Very delicate nose with aromas of orange, lemon and peach. The palate is fresh and velvety, with a beautiful righteousness, the fruit flavours (citrus, apricot). The nose, rather flowery, goes to a fruity mouth: apricot, peach.

The minerality of the wine and its fine tannic texture make this wine very food friendly.

This wine is made from two different vineyards located at the foot of the Andes Mountains. 50% from Los Arbolitos Estate, planted on sandy soil and 50% from Dio Estate, planted in gravel and boulder soils. Clusters are destemmed and then they are dropped into small concrete vats. They ferment with wild yeast for several weeks. Aging continues in French oak barrels for more than a year.

Immediately recognizable on the nose for its classic bell pepper and dried herb aromas, this wine is a true varietal expression of classic Cabernet Franc. Along with the savoury components on the nose you'll find ripe black fruits and subtle shades of violets and spices. The palate packs a punch with ripe fruits, fresh acidity and fine-grained tannins,  all adding pleasing texture and depth to this wine.

‘Kadarka-man’ is how Zoltán Heimann Jr is known around town. The son of Ágnes & Zoltán Heimann completed his training in Geisenheim, Montpellier and Udine. He learned modern international techniques, and got to know many grape varieties and many vineyards on the Mosel, in Tuscany and Down Under in the Yarra Valley. What always fascinated him the most was the unmistakable flavour of each individual origin.

After returning to his native Szekszárd in southern Hungary, Zoltán got it into his head to get to the bottom of the indigenous expression of his homeland, and has taken up the old local grape variety Kadarka as a major project. The powerful counterpart to Kadarka is the spicy Kékfrankos (known in Austria as Blaufränkisch), which possesses the virtue of reflecting its soil of origin quite precisely.

His wines are sophisticated and uncompromising, and provide a contrast to the popular & charming wines of the family estate. Under the name Heimann & Fiai (Heimann & Sons), he is presenting distinctive & original creations that appeal in particular to those wine lovers who are looking for uniqueness and expression of terroir.

Kadarka is part of Hungarian heritage, but that is not the main reason why we love it. Its grace, delicate tannins and distinctive spicy character make it an excellent match with modern cuisine. Kadarka is a capricious variety, so the winery has set out to identify and cultivate rare and forgotten clones to improve its consistency. In their experience great precision and low intervention in winemaking are the key to preserving its unique character.

Ideal with spicy Asian dishes, but also perfect with pasta, dishes made with tomato and with typical examples of Hungarian cuisine made with paprika.

Among all of the Kékfrankos plantings Bati Kereszt is the most protected. A north-facing plot, covered from two sides by forest where ripening and harvest are delayed by 2-3 weeks compared to other vineyards. The prolonged growing season adorns the wines with a more fragile structure and typically delicate, floral aromas. Plenty of fruit on the nose, mainly sour cherry. Pleasantly gentle, rounded, tame. This is a natural and simple, easy to drink, smooth wine with a medium finish.

Pair with suckling pig, lamb, duck or goose. A great compliment to plates garnished with fruit, beetroot, red cabbage or sweet potato.
