1 bottle x Domaine Frédéric Brouca Foulage Gaulois Pinot Noir VDF 2021 (France)
Red | Pinot Noir

This Foulage Gaulois Rouge is Brouca's first Pinot Noir. It comes from a single vineyard in St. Chinian, Languedoc; and it has been aged in a mix of amphora and stainless steel. Subtle aromas of cranberry and sweet cherry. Floral and spicy. Medium-bodied with ripe tannins and acidity to keep it alive. Structured and textured. Perfumed rather than overpowering.

1 bottle x Domaine Frédéric Brouca Champs Pentus AOC Faugéres 2020 (France)
Red | Carignan, Grenache, Syrah

This single-vineyard blend of Grenache, Syrah & Carignan offers a perfect combination of balance and power. Rich dark fruit and savoury roasted meat notes pop from the glass. The flavours are vibrant with a rich symphony of red, blue and black fruits along with a peppery spice note and a long, clean finish.

Pairing suggestion: Pair with hearty winter stews, grilled lamb chops or enjoy on its own in front of a cozy fire after a long day.

1 bottle x Domaine Frédéric Brouca Côte de Glou AOC Languedoc 2021 (France)
Red | Carignan, Grenache, Syrah

Côte de Glou is a blend of Grenache, Syrah & Carignan grown in pure schist soils in the hilly slopes of the Faugères appellation. The forty-year old vines yield a perfectly balanced and powerful wine. With rich dark fruit and a notable structure, this zero sulphur wine spent 2+ years ageing in stainless steel and neutral French oak. The result is a savoury red with a peppery spice note and a long, clean finish.

1 bottle x Domaine Frédéric Brouca Samsó Seulle VDF 2021 (France)
Red | Cinsault

Samsó is the ancient local name for Cinsault and in the hands of Frédéric Brouca they happen to be 45 year-old, beautifully seasoned vines. What is immediately special, interesting, unique and exciting is the straight away Faugères moment, instantly recognizable yet wired in vine structure hyperbole. A hint of musk, or animale as we say is joined by char, tar, grilled herbs and roses just past their prime. But freshness is not compromised and red fruit is front and centre. The flavours go on forever so if they are your kind, you’ll never want them to dissipate.

1 bottle x Domaine Frédéric Brouca Clos Sauveplane Faugères 2020 (Languedoc-Rousillon, France)
Red | Mourvèdre, Syrah

This cuvée is from an isolated walled vineyard in the 'Sauveplane' lieu-dit, a plateau at the eastern limit of the Faugères appellation. It's made from twenty year old Mourvèdre vines and forty year old Syrah vines with both grapes co-fermented and aged for thirteen months in oak. A very natural beauty, the nose is loaded with black pepper, blue fruits and wild gamey notes. If you're a fan of dark yet elegant natural reds with finesse and charm, this wine over delivers.

Pairing suggestion: We recommend pairing it with bold meals: think French bistrot-inspired dishes, such as lentils, black pepper linguini with sausage and dandelion, or even a classic chicken satay!

1 bottle xDomaine Frédéric Brouca Vermouth (France)
Vermouth | Grenache, Carignan and Terret Blanc

Made from Grenache, Carignan and Terret Blanc, macerated with local botanicals, thyme, rosemary, lavender, rose petals, Moroccan orange peels and local honey. A small part of this Vermouth is aged in barrels in the sun for 3 weeks, in order to develop some oxidative complexities. Floral and fresh, this vermouth is perfect to enjoy on its own with just an ice cube.
