From the Zaranda winery in the southern Chilean region of Itata, this family-run operation has deep roots in wine production and vineyard cultivation. Currently helmed by Chef/ Sommelier Juan Ignacio Acuña, who aims to create a style that speaks to all people, that is uncomplicated and easy to connect with all of life's moments.

Wines are made from careful field work, native yeasts and minimal intervention, with respect for the environment in which they are created. The result is juicy, fresh and easy to drink wines that make us smile and at the same time think.

This wine is soft, elegant and very aromatic, full notes of juicy red fruits such as cherries, raspberries and blackberries. It is spicy, highly perfumed, full-bodied and voluminous, with lots of freshness and brightness. The palate is silky, fine, fresh and very easy to drink.

90 points - David Lawrason

Cinsault is a Rhone variety finding new legs in Chile and South Africa as the base for lighter, fruity reds. This is a delicious example with a classic, uplifted, sweet-edged and floral nose of plum and cherry jam and some peppery spice. It is medium weight, smooth and almost satiny in texture. The acidity is jusfresh enough, the tannins are finely dusty. Very good length. Tasted March 2022
