A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem). The two couples worked in the Hatcher's kitchen to build the original blend, which was honoured by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20. Recognition for A to Z wines as offering dependable quality for great value continues today, making A to Z the top-selling Oregon wine brand.

The 2022 A to Z Wineworks Oregon Rose heralds spring with refreshing petrichor. Fresh fruit aromas suggestive of strawberry, melon, mandarin, lime zest, peach and pear arise along with rose petal and spearmint notes. The creamy palate has lively flavours of wild strawberries, kiwi, orange zest and candied watermelon. The clean finish of this zesty Rose is long and mineral-driven - a fresh, fruity delight for any occasion.

Pairs well with complex, spicy, and herbaceous dishes that skew towards the bounty of Spring and Summer; think picnic or fragrant, Mediterranean fare. Great with chicken and offers satisfying sipping on its own.

90 Points - Michael Alberty

I'm not sure what grape varieties were used to make this, but Sangiovese may be involved. Regardless, it is a pink wine for those looking for a creamier texture and softer acidity. It is packed with aromas and flavours of peach pie, quince and strawberry lemonade. It's great with grilled brats
