Pierre Jacques came from Burgundy where his parents also made wine and later began making his own wines in the Loire Valley.  He was one of the first winegrowers in the Loire to make organic wine.

A stunning yet fully natural cabernet franc from vines planted before the First World War. Blackberry, graphite and musky herbs on the nose with scents of woodsmoke adding complexity. Juicy and precise, showing excellent focus to its bitter cherry and licorice flavours. A hint of tobacco carries through on the long, smoky finish which is still marked by slightly herbal tannins.
