Domaine de Beyssac is located on the hills of the Garonne valley, southwest of France, in AOC Côtes du Marmandais (South-West). Véronique and Frédéric, happy owners and conscientious students, started the winery in 2009 on family land inherited from their grandparents and parents. Since its creation, the commitment of Domaine de Beyssac is to produce wines of the highest possible quality.

Named after the first wine ever made by Domaine de Beyssac, Intial is a unique blend of merlot, cabernet franc, malbec and the local varietal abourriou. Pretty and savoury aromas of summer red berries, tomato leaf, flowers and spices abound. The palate is dense and full with rich, robust tannins. A wine to savour over time.

Enjoy with roasted meats, ribeye, striploin or be bold and go for the tomahawk cut!

Wine Align

90 Points - John Szabo

An organic merlot, cabernet franc, malbec and local abourriou blend, this is fragrant and ripe wine from the deep Southwest of France (not far from Bordeaux but inland), with an appealingly rustic, savoury edge but also skilled winemaking in evidence, clean and pure. Tannins are still a little rough-and-tumble, so another 1-2 years in the cellar is recommended, or decant and serve with salty protein. Length and depth are solid. Worth discovering.
