In the Chinon appellation in the Loire Valley, the 40 hectares of the Domaine Angelliaume benefit from diversified terroirs featuring clay-limestone and clay with flint and gravel soils on beautiful sun-soaked exposed hillsides. The conditions here are perfectly adapted to the management of the vines. This diversity allows the Domaine to create wines with great character, ranging from fruity and easy-going sippers to more structured, robust wines meant for ageing.
This is an elegant wine with light cherry highlights. Sourcing grapes from three different vineyard sites, this cuvée releases generously aromatic notes of red berry fruits underscored by dried, sweet herbs and spices. Crunchy on the palate with bight acidity and soft, blooming tannins framed by splashes of red plums and sweet oak.
This is fun, light-style Cabernet Franc that is meant to be enjoyed with friends, paired with your favourite sacks or all on its own.
