The Bamberger family has been practicing viticulture since 1658 and Christian is now the 14th generation. After an internship in Napa Valley, studies at the University of California in Davis and a degree in business administration at the University of Mainz, he returned to his parents' winery in 2004 and has been running the business since 2007.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis wine, made from Silvaner, develops a bouquet of sliced green apples, citrus fruits and yellow pears with hints of fresh meadow herbs. Following this initial pressing, the juice undergoes a primary fermentation. After this first fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to aging vessels, where it matures for a period of six months. Subsequently, a second fermentation occurs in a pressure tank.
