The Reds Mixed Case features four red wines from four different corners of the wine world: Douro in Portugal, Nahe in Germany, Mendoza in Argentina and Stellenbosch in South Africa.

Every mixed case includes 3 bottles of each wine.

Quinta da Colmaça Douro DOC,  Douro, Portugal 2006. This dry red wine is a true expression of Portugal. A blend made from castas portuguesas (native grapes from Portugal!), Quinta da Colmaça Douro DOC is rich in flavour and colour. It shows aromas of dark plum, cassis, leather and spice on the nose; while the palate follows with good tannic structure, plush fruit and smooth finish.

Christian Bamberger Spätburgunder/Pinot Noir Trocken,  Nahe, Germany 2018. This Spätburgunder shows an intense aroma of currants, blackberries and cherries underlaid with coffee and chocolate and delicate spicy notes of cloves, cinnamon, roasted almonds and violets. On the palate, it is fleshy and juicy with pleasantly soft tannins. Dense fruit, fine flavour and the perfectly coordinated use of wood make this Pinot Noir a very elegant, versatile wine that lingers for a long time.

Bodega Marco Zunino Estancia Argentina Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina 2018. 90 points by Wine Align. The dream of four French partners in Argentina's Mendoza Province. The Malbec vines grow in the southwest of San Rafael, an oasis surrounded by large canyons and crossed by two rivers. This Malbec opens up with red fruits, black raspberry and tones of fresh leather. It's chewy and sumptuous on the palate, with firm tannins and a very well balanced acidity.

Pearce Predhomme Cinsault-Syrah Stellenbosch, South Africa 2018. 91 points by Wine Align. This Cinsault/Syrah is made from bush vines planted in Koffieklip soils in the Southwestern of Stellenbosch, South Africa. On the nose, it's all about fresh ripe red & black fruit: cherry, strawberry, wild raspberry; with hints of intense spice, it also has a granite minerality. On the palate it is light-bodied, with a vibrant acid and grippy though delicate tannins. It intermingles with surprisingly powerful fruit & spice; punching above its weight in flavour. It is very balanced with low alcohol.
